Scrapbook?
 
Did your breeder give you a scrapbook or anything with your puppy when you brought them home?
Mine did and I've not seen it mentioned here, but I will scan it in. It has a picture of the mom and dad, the papers to register Guinness, a picture of him and his brothers/sisters, his shot records and some cute little things to add in there.

no but mine did give me tons of pics of lacey and her parents :) what a great idea a scrap book is :)

What a wonderful idea.
When our puppies leave for their forever homes we give them a binder filled with pictures, history, medical info and many pages of information on how to care for their new puppy. They also receive a basket filled with blankets, toys, food, piddle pads and a few of the puppies favorite things while they were here....which had not been washed recently and has retained the scent of their littermates and momma.
I do love the Scrapbook idea and I think I may consider that for the next litter. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Well it is a binder, nothing pretty on the outside, but the inside was so much fun :)

I like your basket idea, I didn't get anything like that, I got a baggie of some starter food LOL

well, like many who didn't know much about the breed, I found them in the paper. It was their first litter, her mom shows Yorkies. They are in Cameron Texas :) she was very nice and they had a 3 yr old little girl so Guinness was accustomed to kids being around.

no i didnt get one but i make my own scrapbooks so it didnt phase me..i am going to start working on martini's i have to finish my moms surprise party still..im alil behind lol lol...plus i need to go get some puppy scrapping supplies

Where do you buy your supplies? I have recently spent some time in Micheal's and they seem to have a huge selection, but I would love to hear of other places that carry it also.

I have found great stuff at Hobby Lobby and once while scouring Big Lots, I found some neat things on clearance. We have some scrapbook stores around here and I've heard there's software so you can upload your photos and then do a page online :)

Good morning! My name is Shelly and I am addicted to scrapbooking. LOL

How sad is it that I have a whole room in my house dedicated to my scrapbooking and I have not done one single page of my Rocco. All of my books currently consist of my children and their activities. In my defense though I have recently started picking up some "pet" scrapbook supplies so I have huge plans as soon as I can find the time.

If anyone is interested orientaltrading.com carries a lot of doggie scrapbook suplies and their prices are really reasonable even with the shipping.

try ac moore they give u michaels sale prices if u bring in the michaels flyer of the week...

We do have Big Lots and I will check them out, but sadly no Hobby Lobby.
I do love the idea of Scrapbook software. Is there any one in particular that you enjoy?

thats another great place to look, then there is odd lot, dollar tree, even ebay has scrapbooking things...

My breeder didn't give me much. Shot record, pedigree papers (BTW... he's not AKC he's united Registry something - what does that mean?) and a baggie of starter food.
I did email her and ask for some parent/sibling photos (though I do have some sibling photos from when I was trying to decide which puppy we wanted) she was also happy to tell me the parent ages and names (though that was also on the registry papers) and some cute and funny details about the parents.
I'm also a scrapbooker. I haven't scrapped my lil Scrappy yet - but I do have the "arrival" pictures printed and I plan to do the pages at a crop this weekend.
I'm also going to look for some puppy type embellishments the next time i'm at HL and/or Michael's to put together Scrappy's book. I can't wait to get it started!
