I'm sorry to hear these methods aren't working for you.. have you tried the sour apple yet?
I like the method PipperPuppy's talking about! I'd try that first (if it were me) | Nope, I haven't tried the sour apple apple/bitter apple yet, I was gonna but I went out tonight ad bough a whistle and it seems to be doing the trick WONDERFULLY! I guess it's different with a shaker can cause she seen me shaking it and I'm sure she thought it was a toy. With the whislte, when I blow it, I do it load and fast, just real quick and then I let it drop down, it's on a string around my neck, and then I very sternly say "No Bite!" Or if she's trying to get under the desk back to the wires, I say, "No, Out!" I'm gonna stick to this method cause it really seems to be working. I'm not trying to be mean or anything here, but I really don't like the method PipperPuppy's suggested. It just seems so mean to me. I mean, when I say I love my furkids like my skin kids, I really mean it. When our kids were little and they needed a time out, that was fine, I could put them in a chair with no problem and give them a time out, but I could no way ever put them in a dark closet for a time out (and I know she wasn't suggesting I do that to a skin kid) I'm just saying, I love our furkids like our skin kids and I just couldn't do that to her or any of our furkids for that matter. I don't mean to sound ungreatful for any of the suggestions, I appreciate them all, there's just certain ways I treat our furkids and I do what I'm comfortable with. Thank you all, I appreciate all your replies. |
