Is this unique? I was going to post this earlier today, but I forgot! Duh! Anyways, I noticed last night that Kibble (11 weeks old) His nose is half brown and half pink?? The pink is in the front of the nose, right in the middle. It's not just a spot, it's like it's swirled. Anyone else ever seen anything like that? |
If you look at my avatar, you can see it! I never noticed it before. |
I Havent Seen It But I Bet It Is Adorable Up Close! |
I just read about noses that have lightened up in areas...it's not considered a pigment loss...it said it's more or less a result of spending less time in the sun and would darken back up in summer months. Kinda like a suntan. I don't know if that's the case with your puppy, but Reese's nose looks like he rubbed some of the color off...right in the center like along the crease. |
My baby girl has lighter color nose and even in the summer time. At first it was strange to see non-black nose but now I don't care!! she is just darn so cute to me!!! lol |

i havent seen that before but i bet its probably the cutest thing |
I've seen it on yorkies and maltese before...it's just a lack of pigment there. Idealy, you want the pigment on the nose and eye rims to be solid black, but its pretty common to see lighter pigment |
1 Attachment(s) My little Lucy has pink on her nose. We call it her little pig nose and we LOVE it! So cute! |
