Is your Yorkie as fast as lightening? Buddy amazes me at the speed of stealing things out of my pockets! Last night I hung my coat over the chair while I carried him into the kitchen to wipe his feet of, after our walk, I put him down to throw the paper towel away and in an instant I heard a crumbling noise. I ran into the dining room and he had already gone in my coat pocket and took the poopy bag out(it was empty) and was tearing it apart! I ordered him to bed and he looked so sad. This morning I sat on the floor with him to drink my coffee and keep him company and in a split second he was in my robe pocket and stole the tissue out of it. Again another chase. He is so fast stealing things I just can't believe it! He knows pockets like he knows to breath air and he knows that's where the tissues are. I had a girlfriend come to the house and her pocket book was on her arm, he was in it and grabbed her kleenex even before she got all the way into my house. He's faster than a speeding bullet. |
lol too cute....I had such a vivid pic in my mind of your little clepto. |
my sophia does that too. its really annoying because they r so hard to catch!!! then since she is so small she hides under a bae or something annd i cant get her out!:littleang |
:yelrotflm Thats so funny. Lyla doesn't steel things yet but she is fast. Especially at bedtime when shes not ready to go to bed. :yelrotflm |
That is so funny. None of mine now how to go in pockets to retrieve stuff. That Buddy is one smart furbaby. |
Haha!! Thats such a riot isn't it?! Emma is a sock theif. She grabs them (not off of feet, just ones in the laundry or left on the floor :)) and takes off running!! She is fast and small so she just keeps running around avoiding me! Its quite the event when she gets ahold of a sock!! It probably takes me longer to get ahold of her because I am laughing so hard every time it happens! |
lol thats sooo funny ahhhh martini does that too trust me especially if she sees paper lol...they are so funny |
OMG yes!!! My Precious is extremely fast and sneaky! She is kinda, well forced is not a great description, but she is in the living room while the TV is on football and I think her little sponge of a brain absorbed some football players moves! She will steal anything she can get her mouth on, then she will get you chasing her, she'll fake to the left, so you go left and she bounces to the right and ZOOOOOOM! Shes gone! She even learned to tuck her tail under for "less wind resistance" LOL She kills me! |
OMG- yes, mine is fast! Fast is not the word! We can't catch him, unless he wants us to! that scares me and is something I am starting to work on- he he got loose out side- I'd have a heart attack! |

LOL Love the tail tuck! Your right, she has it down pat! |
Eddie's fast -- and sneaky. He knows he's not supposed to eat Jack's food, and he knows I watch him and give him an "uh-uh" when he makes a move toward the food dish. But he also somehow knows THE SECOND I turn my head away, because I'll look back and Jack's food will be gone. |

of Buddy. Encluding loving the snow! |
Ah Buddy sounds like a quick little stinker. Chachi is my fast one. He has gotten in my purse and got a $20 bill before and took off with it. When he gets the zoomies there is no catching him. |
That sounds like Betty. Her all-time favorite is the empty roll from the toilet paper!! It's like a steak to her! She listens to see if the TP is near the end of the roll and she's ready to pounce!! |
:) This is so funny!! My LeRoy does the same thing. Whatever prize he grabs goes straight under the couch. I've learned not to chase him but offer cheese. I shake the cheese bag and he brings me the stolen prize and sits for his cheese. I've often wondered which one of us is trained!!! My Louie is not a little thief and wouldn't think of looking in a pocket. They are so different!:aimeeyork |
