Crate, has your yourkie got out............ Has your yorkie ever got out of his or her crate ? I came home from work and he was out? I was like what the hecK? I found a little present in the corner as well:confused: |
Noooo.... never have mine gotten out. But I read the book Marley and Me. In the book the guy told how his lab would work his tongue around the clasp on push it over to undo it! I know how long my babies tongue is and wondered if he would ever try this... it could be you have one smart little yorkie.... |
Dior has managed to Paw her way out a couple of times. Make sure that you have it locked all the way:) |
yeah i think he goes crazy when i leave then just knocks the latch loose, he does that on the door. hmmmm a lil whooodini huh? |
Mine have never got out i would be amazed if they did though because i have a tough time getting it open sometimes ;) |
If he goes crazy in a crate, how about an x-pen? Mine don't like the crates but do well in x-pens. I have one for each except the oldest gets to run loose.:) Joanne :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :dog: |
Tink used to get out of hers so I had to padlock it shut. Daisy mae06 laughed when she saw that! Then I bought her a bigger crate since she's in it all morning when I'm at work, and it has two closures; one at the top and one at the bottom. She hasn't figured that out yet. the top one is always open but never the bottom one - YET. Ha Ha:p So she's still securely tucked in her crate.:D |

...they remember |
My little guy got out of his crate once (it wasn't closed properly) and ate through his gate once. Both times he had the run of the house for a few hours. Both times he shocked the hell out of me by actually going on his pad and not messing up the house. This was after a week of having him. Pretty soon I am hoping i can leave him out as it seems like he holds it now to go outside. |
thats great cant wait til he holds it, has been doing good at night. |
I left Bella in the kitchen once, ran to the store, came home, NO BELLA! ?? Well, she managed to get herself into one of the cabinets and wouldn't you know it was the one with knifes in it  Luckily she wasn't hurt. |
Oohhhh yes...mine definitely have. They know how to push up the latch then slide it over with their noses. Little escape artists... |
These guys are crazy critters  , haha i think Buster will train me. I will try not to let that happen |
No, but we had a poodle/terier mix that would use his teeth to get the latch open. He could also open the hook and eye lock that my mom put on the kitchen cabinet. It had the trash can in it and he loved the trash:rolleyes: |
what kind What kind of crate? Is it the kind where you squeeze the two parts together to open and close it? If it is, sometimes they don't go all the way in at the bottom (they need to be vasalined sometimes) and they can push them all the way open. |
