I can't believe that a lady would care about a puppy if he is so young and has him outside. I would think you shouldn't consider this puppy till you go and see what you are getting into. If you don't go to where the puppies are being raised and see the parents that is odd to me right off. Delivering the dog after you already have been to the kennel is a different thing. You already would have done your research. Go with you gut feelings. But I know its hard if you already held him. Plus with the rampage of parvo going around why would you chance getting a young puppy out like that? |
I want to find a breeder who breeds only yorkies and in there home! Some where close so i CAN go and see where there raised.. I am tired of finding the kennels.. |
There are two breeders in Louisiana on the YTCA breeder's list. That is the best place to start. They can refer you to other breeders, too, if they don't have litters planned or aren't in your price range. http://www.ytca.org/breeder4.html#LA As you've found out, puppy shopping blindly on the internet is a bad idea. |

Find a breeder you like first...if they have pups now, great...but if they dont, why not wait until they have a litter? I understand it stinks to wait (believe me, I want one NOW but have already waited two years and will wait another three) but it's better to be patient and buy from a reputable breeder than settle for a puppy just because a less-than-desirable breeder has one right now |
I would be careful since there are so many breeds and they advertise teacups. But, check them out and see what you think. Ask to see the parents. He's a little cutie, for sure, but I'm a little concerned about his coat. It looks a little thin to me. Make sure he doesn't have something wrong. See what kind of coats his parents have, and ask lots of questions. Good luck! |
