be careful of elizabeth davis she just ripped off another one! I was going to fly out to get the puppy and she was sooooooo reassuring that the puppy would be safe. She contacted me several times and sent an additional pic. She is good!!! With each conversation I was more anxious to get the puppy. She suggested western union and since I was able to use my charge ( I never used western union before in my life!) I assumed that I would have some guarentee. I did a google search on her name...nothing but people with creditials came up. She is working out of Chulavista California She is giving online breeders and nextdaypets a bad name. I also assumed that I could trust nextdaypets. I have learned that she has a reputation for this same action. I finally found a note in the forumn that listed the same experience way back in April... and also a few others who commented regarding her. The site continues to expose inocent and gulible puppy-mom-want-to-bes" to people who they know are not on the up and up. I have contacted nextdaypets via phone and had to leave a message... they have not responded OF COURSE! and the recording suggests sending a message through the site "support" link which I was unable to find. I am considering seeking action against the site itself, but I am unsure as to exactly what can be done at this point. I just didn't use my brains at all on this one!!! here is her msot recent letter to my breeder friend "Beth" was supposed to call on Tuesday after 1pm with details on the vet check and the flight information. I sent her an email early that morning to discuss potential flights that would work. (I researched to see what flights might be the shortest travel time for my new little sweetheart) In the previous few days we had talked several times. She did not reply to the email and did not call to let me know how the vet appointment went. I then called and of course got her voice mail about 45 minutes after the vet appointment was supposedly scheduled. When she did not return my call, I waited another hour and called again. When she again avoided my call, I did the second google search this time using "Elizabeth Davis yorkie breeder" Sure enough, our trusted administrators at nextdaypets.com had previously been informed of this crook and allowed her to continue her little scam. If you type that into a google search, you will find the messages posted there discrediting her. If only I hadn't been in such a rush. I will keep you posted as to any new developments. I really think this is not going to be a happy ending for her, but who knows at this point. becareful everyone looking on Nextday under this Elizabeth Davis  |
OMG I'm so sorry to hear about this. I hope you are able to take action to prevent her from ever doing that to someone again! I sincerely hope that things end up working out for you. Some people's actions and selfishness are just beyond my comprehension... :( |
sorry to hear you got ripped off! there is another thread in regards to her ripping off other people. her is the link it may help you with information on how other people handled this same situation. good luck! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...lizabeth+davis |
Maybe try contacting the other person that posted on YT about her and see where thier search for this lady is at. Maybe the 2 of you can team up or something. |
Guys it wasnt me that was taken by this woman!! the above posted correspondence is from a buyer that emailed her story to her... |
Poor lady out of money and out of a puppy! |
i would never wire money like that for a puppy, that is a red flag that something is up and something is not right....... always pay with some form of money that is traceable |

I'm a complete dork! |
gosh that is horrible!!! :thumbdown |
Hate hearing this...brings back horrible memories. I hate even more that there are such cruel, ignorant people out there that will use people and puppies like that to benefit themselves with no regards for those that they are hurting  . It also makes it bad for those breeders online who ARE reputable. I know I am scared to death to try the online process again. I hope something is done to this woman. I really feel for your friend who got duped. I hope all works out for her. |
That is horrible. I dont know how this woman keeps getting away with this. I hope she gets caught soon and ends in Jail where she belongs. WOW, this is so sad. Worst cause this happens to often and this people keep getting away with fraud. |
Elizabeth Davis Thanks for the warning- I will google and read up on this person of interest. Wnalegria |
The thing is it takes ALOT for people like that to ever get in trouble - but it CAN happen - Besides reporting her to everyone she can - posting her name everywhere you can will help so poeple will see it and maybe prevent this from happening to someone else. Also - if someone HAS to pay it's much better to use a credit card - you can dispute charges if things go bad.....Personally - I would never wire cash to anyone on the net - it's like throwing money away - It's such a shame there are so many scammers out there. |
I checked www.nextdaypets.com and found a "contact us" button at the bottom of the screen. I clicked on it and found that you could send them a message. It also listed their mailing address as Next Day Pets, L.L.C. P.O. Box 1262 Huntingtown, MD 20639-1262 Hope this helps. |
