You mentioned an some apartments- post around them- some one might have seen the man! Or he might be from there- or have a girlfriend he wantd a puppy for! I just keep wondering about him!

OOOhhh, how devastating! Prayers going your way so that you can get information to locating your puppy, this guy will be caught. Do you have pictures of the man, so you can post that as well. Wishing you lots of luck along with prayers.

I'm so sorry. I know that EXACT intersection you were talking about, as I live around the Sacramento area. It kind of frightens me that there's a "dog-napper" 15-20 minutes away from me :( :( :( Have you tried contacting the police? Keep a lookout on the sacbee classifieds website ... he could list your Otis on there.

I am in San Jose and will keep an eye out for anyone trying to sell a pup.

I also would advise you to post this on Meetup.com on the San Francisco Yorkshire Terrier Group as there are TONS of members who really look out for one-another.

I really hope you get him back! This is so horrible!! It just makes me sick!

Oh this is terrible! My heart goes out to you and little Otis. My prayers for his safe return. Is he microchipped? Hopefully he is because that is one more thing that may help get him back...

YEAH I POSTED FLYERS THERE YESTERDAY, AND I TALKED TO THE CHIROPARCTER AND GAVE THEM FLYERS AND DISCRIBED THE MAN TO THEM. ITS BEEN 2 DAYS AND STILL NOTHING. DAMN IT BRING MY DOG BACK GGGRRRRR

Is there an apt mngr on site you can talk to?
He might know who you are describing as well as who just brought home a new puppy. Seeing someone take a yorkie puppy outside to go potty or maybe hear one barking?
Do you know everyone pretty well at work? My friend is a Captain on the Sherriff's dept here and says that statisics show that most thefts are from somebody you know or a friend of a friend type thing.
How long had you been taking him to work? just a couple of days? who would know that you had brought your puppy to work?

We are all praying for Otis's safe return.

Is there a chance Otis could have got out on his own? Did you search the vicinity?

YES MY CO-WORKER AND I BOTH WENT OUT ON FOOT, SHE MADE FLYERS IMMEDIATLY AND PUT THEM ON ALL THE CARS IN THE AREA WHILE I DROVE UP AND DOWN THE STREETS LOOKING UP, DOWN, UNDER AND OVER.

I really hate to hear things like this :( It just sadens me so much... I've always wanted a Yorkie :aimeeyork I waited 15 yrs before I could get one. But never in a hundred years did I imagine that I'd have to worry 24-7 about her security... Its makes me mad :mad: that I cant take my baby on regular walks for fear of her safety and mine. It makes me mad that I have to use running around the house/up & down the stairs as a form of excersize for my pup because I just dont/cant take her outside that much.... Its really sad :( And now, to hear that its becoming a real problem.... Im speechless.... Dont know what to do :confused:

I will keep praying you find him and again am so sorry you have to go through this. It blows my mind how cruel people can be.

My heart absolutely aches for you. I get teary eyed and heavy chested just thinking about if one of my babies went missing or got stolen. I've made appointments for them at our daycare who's holding a specfial to be microchipped on Valentine's Day. I even told my boyfriend I don't want anything for Valentine's but my babies microchipped. It's so amazing how sudden they can be gone and how cruel people can be! I would find the best picture you have of him, print it in full color with the best quality, post it on HOT ORANGE flyers, bold black letters, and post those flyers everywhere! I know that personally I pay attention to bold flyers where I tend to look over just plain white paper with black and white. In fact, I saw a neon orange lost dog poster for a black lab mix the other day. Normally, I wouldn't remember that much info. It was that bright obnoxious poster that caught my eye. Go to Kinkos and have them all laminated so they hold up to rain and wind. I'm so sorry this is long, but I want to give you as much advice as I can! I'm praying for your baby and his safe return! Make sure you take those same flyers to ALL vets as well! A vet can't assume every yorkie brought in is stolen, but if he has a picture (especially ywith your boy have the unique grey mohawk), a vet may remember that and go, "wait a minute.." and take the extra time to make sure the dog wasn't stolen. Take the flyers to super markets, stores, pet boutiques/stores, gas stations, humane society, rescue organizations, EVERYWHERE! Don't give up! Good luck and keep us updated! I agree with you.When my Grizzley Bear was here.You would not know that I even had a yorkie. I guarded him like a hawk. I did take him for walks and out and about with me. I was always on alert for I just knew that any time someone would snatch him up.He was the most precious gift to myself that I could ever give. I am so sorry for Otis and his Mom. My heart goes out to her!Thank you for the post you really hit home on this for me!
