does your building have cameras? If so, take that to the police..

then I would call the Humane society- or some Animal Org. and tell them you got no help from the police/ sheriff- ask them if they could contact them that just might make them sit up in their chair a little straighter! It is theft- and there is a living creature, who's welfare is to be thought about! I would be MAD AT THAT !!

I am so sorry for your loss:( I know exactly what you are going through:( On June 15, 2007 my little boy, Zeke, was stolen from my yard!!! I have been searching ever since:( I will NEVER give up!!!

I wish you all the luck in the world because I know how devastating it is:( I see you already talked with the police and got the same thing I did a big fat NOTHING!!!!!! They will not help you so you will have to do everything on your own.

I am not far from Sac. so if you want to email me fliers I will post them along with mine. Was he micro-chipped?

Tell me how I can help... Dont give up, He is out there somewhere

That is just devastaing! How can someone be so cruel?
Did you get a good look at him?
Write down everything about him you can think of, then call the
Sacramento newspapers and the TV news and Local radio morning shows.
That happened to a couple of families here in Reno last year and the papers,news & radio ran reports about the yorkies.
If you can give a detailed discription of him and somebody reads it or hears about it they might know who it was.
A reward for information is a big incentive to turn someone in.

I am so sorry, you must be worried sick!! I would give a call to all of your local TV news stations. See if they will do a story on it and show pics of your baby. The police might not think its important because its "just a dog" but TV news like to help with this kind of story. This happened at a little pet store near my house, and it was a few months later, they were able to get both puppys back. This would not only get the word out to local vets....but also to the person that sees the neighbor with the new yorkie puppy in his yard, esp if you are offering a reward!

I am praying that Otis comes home to you.

My older Yorkie ran off once and was picked up by someone within a couple of hours who almost didn\'t return him. My family came together and prayed and we got him back the next evening.

And yes, PLEASE REPORT IT TO YOUR LOCAL NEWS STATIONS IMMEDIATELY!

Make as many flyers you can offering a reward, spread the news to everyone, and bug the police nonstop!

As far as I\'m concerned the law needs to be changed. Steeling someone\'s pet is not like steeling money, jewelry, a car, etc. It amounts to "kidnapping", and it should be prosecuted and punished as such.

I have been thinking about this! do you think it could be someone that is employed there? maybe the man was a distraction- or not in it at all1 It just seems a little weird that a person just happens to come there- on the very 1st day you have your new pup there, acting like he was scoping the business out??
and you know better than i do,but do you kind of see what I mean?
Any troubles with co- workers? just don\'t want anything to be over looked- the main thing is Otis, his saftey, and him getting back home!
but look at everything!
this has to be so hard for all of your family!
I am so sorry you have to go throught this!
I will be praying for your baby to be returned!

Wow I\'m so sorry! Were there cameras in your work place? Could he have been watching you and knew you had Otis, cause obviously if he pretended to be a client then his plan was to steal him all along, so he must have seen you with him before. I am so terribly sorry and hope you catch the guy

I am so sorry to hear this happened to you and your precious furbaby. I am shocked at the kind of people there are in this world honestly. It is beyond my scope of comprehension I guess.
