Petsmart Sorry to bother everyone about this, but I tried to call and Petsmart isn't open yet. Does anyone know if you need an appointment just to get nails trimmed - Teddy has become a monster when it comes to nail trimming - I don't know why - he loves his feet rubbed! I want to go as soon as they open if I don't need an appointment. Thanks! |
Ive always been able to just go in and get nails trimmed you might want to check though they might be busier on the weekends |

I think that the grooming part opens at 8:00 am....... so they should be open soon. I would try to go early, if they get busy, you probably won't get in. Some vets will also trim nails (just in case you can't get in and it is a "have to" situation). |
I dont know if you have to have an appt. but I know at the vet I pay 15, and at petco I pay 13, just found out if you go to humane society, on whatever day they do walk ins its only 5 bucks. Now thats a savings |
OK, I don't want to scare you; but, there have been some pretty horrific grooming incidences at PetSmart, reported right here on YT. IF you go to PetSmart, I'd be sure not to leave your baby, and watch them at all times until they're done. Here's one in particular that upset me so much I had to call the store! Do a search here, on Petsmart grooming. |

Too Cute Teddy - Great. I know it sounds like I'm bashing the whole chain, I just didn't want you going into a situation that might bring heartache. |
You dont need an appt. Just go in and ask. And stand there with him in your arms and they will do his nails while you hold him . It will be 8.00. |
I take mine to Petsmart for nail trims only since I can't yet do it and I hold them while the girl does it. I have had no problems with that. I also just walk in but ussually in the evening when they are slow |

I go to Petco and just hold him while they do it. It's walk-in. |
