How My Baby Changed Me
 
I use to be one of those that laughed at people who treated their dogs as children instead of pets. I laughed at those that bought clothes for their dogs, I just could not understand how someone could be so crazy over a dog!!!! Then almost a month ago, I got Cody and boy did my life change!!! I became one of "those" people!!! I love my Cody so much that I can not imagine what my life would be like without him. He sees me coming in from work, and he is so happy that it makes me all warm inside. He is not a dog to me, he really is my baby. And the clothes? I buy them every chance I get!!!

Yup I confess I was one too! But I am so glad that I have opened my eyes to a whole other world and I am so proud to be a part of! I now understand those people...because I myself is now one of them...hehe:D

Me too!! I would get so irritated when people would act like there dogs were their children, now I know they are :D

I always loved dogs but had cats instead (until I could afford one on my own:p ) My all-time favorite breed has always been the yorkie.. they're all so unique it amazes me!!

I laugh at people who look at me and go "you DRESS your dog:cool: " no, it's not my dog it's my BABY! and I love love love her to pieces!

Yep...these babies have way of taking over us! I was different though...I was looking at dog boutiques and cute dog clothes way before I even had a dog :p

i always grew up with dogs all my life we had dogs...and none of them were mine lol they were my brothers or my parents..so they never dressed them but i always wanted a dog for myself so i could name her what i wanted and dress her up and lol i waiting till i was 28 to get her and now people act like im nuts cause i treat her like my baby and she is so i do go out and buy something for her all the time even if im at a store buying myself clothes i see something for her i get it i dont care...i got made fun of for takin her to santa and gettin her picture and sending it out as a christmas card...but i dont care she is my life and my best friend and that wont change lol...so here is to our furbabies who are our loves and heres to dressing them up hehe

I grew up with big dogs... And I never disliked the small dog or the clothes but my husband told me his realy disliked small dogs. He liked huntung dogs that earned their living!

Well after our black lab died, I was heart broken... He was the sweetest dog. But 2 years later I wanted a small dog and tried talking Mike into one. He said NO WAY...WOuld not even look!

We went into a pet shop and I thought if I could just get Mike ot HOLD a yorkie puppy his heart might begin to soften. It took him less then 10 minutes to say ok we can get him!!!!:eek:

I had been looking on line at yorkie pups for 2 months... Wishing for a baby. Never did I think one small puppy could melt my hubby's heart so fast!
I knew nothing about puppy mills... all our dogs were muts or found... I had never bought a dog and knew nothing of breeders. I know now... But Chewy melted our hearts... and now Sadie has too!
