new here 1 Attachment(s) Hi all, just wanted to intorduce myself, my name is kathi and I am the proud parent of 3 dogs, Cricket, Wiley, and newest addition, Pepper. Pepper is a 15 wk old yorkie, she weighs 5 lbs already, think she will get any bigger. Her mom was 3 lbs and dad 4 lbs. maybe she is going to take after her grandparents?? Hope to get alot of advice from all. |
teapot Welcome. If she is 5lbs at 15wks old I think you are going to have quite a large puppy on your hands. They (usually) double their 12wk weight. Teapots are great! |
Welcome to Yt, you have a darling baby.. :D I am sure you will just love it here, so many great great people with so much knowledge to share..Your baby is going to be bigger.. but everyone on here that has a pet yorkie that is big seem to love them.. |
Welcome to YorkieTalk.:) |
Welcome. You sure have a little cutie there. |
re to new here 4 Attachment(s) Thats what I thought. Thats ok because I was smitten the first time she licked my nose. Maybe that means she will be able to keep up with her brothers. she already runs them through their paces. |
Welcome to YT! Your baby probably has quite a bit more growing to do. It's really hard to know exactly how big a puppy will grow to be...you have to know the size of the dogs in their pedigree. And some dogs mature faster than others. Most dogs will grow until they are at least 6 months old...most grow until they are 8-9months old, and some aren't done growing until 1-1.5years of age. |
WELCOME TO YORKIE TALK!Nice to meet you Kathi, I know you'll enjoy it here. We Do!! |
