fun stuff- and pet nannies
 
I hired a pet nanny and I got home from a three day trip last night and Barney was not himself at all! He was kind of cowering a little in the corner and wouldn't kiss me or cuddle. I am afraid something bad happened. He also smelled funny.

I sprayed him with his favorite happy tails spa: Sparkle & shine (www.happytailsspa.com) and he got a little better (and smelled good), but beyond spoiling him a little I am just sad.

How can you trust someone to watch your dog?

u cant its just like having a babysitter u dont know what ur getting...next time if u have one come to ur house i would get a cam and hide it or get a pet cam so u can watch their every move...poor thing is probably upset...shame on the nanny

I am so sorry...maybe he was just sad from missing you..or maybe he was pouting. That is what Murfee does when I have left him.

I'm going to say he was just mad that you left him. I wouldn't immediately think that the nanny was bad.

Oh My That Is So Sad ... Right Before Bleu Had Surgery He Would Put His Paw On My Face To Keep From Kissing Him I Thought He Was Rejecting Me And It Killed Me But In All Reality He Had A Protecting Mechanism Up For Fear I Would Touch His Neck And It Would Hurt... Now Surgery Is Over And He Is Back To Normal But I Can Only Imagine How You Feel Cause I Know How I Felt... Darn Nanny!

Sounds like she did something to him. Chachi cowered after his first grooming visit and we just knew she did something to him. We changed groomers to a groomer that is a pet lover and we have never had a problem again. When you choose pet sitters, groomers and vets you need to make sure they are pet lovers.

u know its funny u say this cause to me its like they should automatically be since they work with pets..if they dont like pets they should get different jobs am i wrong lol...thats like me saying im gonna go work for the sanitation meanwhile i hate garbage lol

Poor Barney!!! See, that's why I can't leave my babies with anyone! No body can understand your furbabys needs like you do. I can tell what my girls want by just looking at them.

Thats true but there are people who are burnt out, grumpy, In it for the money. I really dont think that first groomer wasnt a pet lover if she couldnt handle a little yorkie without being rough. She even told us he was difficult even though the groomer I have now has never had a problem with him

then maybe she should retire...come on its a yorkie i mean i can understand if it was a big dog but a yorkie weighs no more then 4lbs soak and wet..thats tru about the grumpy ones i get that in the stores when i shop for me and tell them if they dont like their job they should quit cause im not here to get treated like crap...
