Does your Yorkie like the Postman ? 2 Attachment(s) I was wondering whose dog has a love or a loathing of the Postie ? :D Mine are terrible barkers if they see him coming up the path, but when I just had Tara, she was fine....it's the pack thing now....one barks, and it sounds like a kennel in our house:rolleyes: Tara waits for parcels....Casper's other Mother got her started by sending parcelled goodies...biscuits, chews and toys, and now she thinks the parcel is just as good, so not only does she save the goodie parcels, but ANY parcel the postman brings ! ....and she won't let the others anywhere near it ! Tammy is a cheeky rascal and tries to steal it off her just for the sake of it, but she keeps a good hold of it(below) ...and Casper doesn't bother with it...he is too laid-back for any nonsense ! Below is her with the last parcel sent for Christmas by Casper's 1st Mum....she won't let anyone near it just in case it magics up some more food ! :dribble: ..........:animal-pa Debra ......I think she is soooooooo cute, but I am biased ! 1. Chip never had an issue until Harley moved in. Now they both have become very territorial about their home, every time there is a delivery truck out front, or if someone comes to the door and rings the bell they go nuts. |
Murfee sits on the back of the couch and barks at anyone who turns in the driveway. The maillady very seldom comes to the door. Debra, if we had all those chirpy things coming in my mail, I would TEACH Murfee to bark at the maillady:D :D Good to see you posting. |
Mine seldom even sees the mail man. We live just outside the city limits, so we have a rural carrier. But yesterday we got a couple of boxes delivered by UPS and he brought them into the house and gave Kacee a snack. She really barked at him though! And she's not much of a barker at all! Sometimes you can go for days without hearing her bark.:) |
Debra, those pictures are really cute. Mine never see the mailman. We have a box out by the end of our driveway and the mailman just pulls up in his mail truck and drops it in there. But........Rudy barks whenever anyone comes to the door. :D |
Mine are not mad when they see the mailman . Peoples coming to visit are surprised to see how they are calm . Of course , they will let a woof out when they hear the doorbell , I just have to say shhhh , and they stop . |

We live in a rural area so it's mostly the UPS guy. And boy do they carry on. Good thing he's a friend of ours.LOL:animal-pa |
Gracie loves the postman, the UPS guy, the Fed Ex person, you name it. Holly has not yet experienced any of them, but she is so friendly I suspect she would like them as well. |

Lucky and Lexie both bark like mad when they see the mailman (or any stranger coming towards our house), but we're working on stopping that bad habit. I wouldn't go so far as to say they don't like him cuz once he stepped inside the house (if he ever dared to LOL), they'd probably love & kiss him to death!:p |
