Anyone ever have this happen
 

Ok, This will be a long story, but it has to be told right.

My husband and daughter and I went out to eat Sat. night. Anytime we leave Preston has to go in his crate. (all of my dogs are crate trained) So we come home in about an hour, I go to the restroom, and my husband lets all the dogs out to use the restroom. My husband calls to me,
"Hey, you should see Preston. When I put him out, he turned around and looked at me with his head all tucked down and tilted, and this little stance. It is really cute. He is doing it again, come look."
So I go to the door and start watching him. He is running all over the yard, playing with Bailey, jumping and flipping his feet around. Once in a while, he will stop and look at us. Every time, he has his head tilted to the side, and tucked to his chest. At first I think it is funny, and then I start to get concerned.
"I wonder if he has a crick in his neck or something. :( That is odd, he isn't lifting his head at all."
I call Preston. He turns to look at me. His head is still tucked, and tilted to the side. Now I am starting to be concerned. :confused: I call him again.
He finally comes running to me, and I pick him up.
"Oh no, his hair is caught in his collar." :eek: I start to try to untangle it.
Guess what?
His hair is NOT caught in his collar, his chest hair is caught on his tooth.
He has apparently at some point while we are gone, chewed on his chest hair, and gotten it all tangled around his little tooth.
Takes me forever to get it untangled, and get the knot out of his hair, the minute I do, down and off he goes, playing again like he has no cares in the world.
Only Preston, goofy dog, life is a ball, even when your head is tied to your neck with your own chest hair. :D

Archie has never done that -- but he does have a habit of trying to take off his clothes and will end up hobbling around on three feet because one arm is caught in his sleeve. They are such little sillies these dogs! :p

oh goodness - glad it wasn't anything serious - wasn't sure where you were going at first. glad it was a happy funny ending

Ok, I was scared for you at first, but at then end of the story you actually had me laughing out loud by myself!!
Poor little guy.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss I have had that happen and had nooooo clue what was going on either..it scared the crap outa me too!!

My little guy the other night had his back leg hair caught on his tooth. Gave me quite a scare for a minute, called the hubby over and everthing! lol

Sadie had her barette caught on my carpet one day. Luckily, I saw her before too long. Now, when I leave, I take the barette out for fear of her hurting herself.

LMAO, I have this all the time with Bandit, he looks kind of one sided and is always eating left over food on his chest hair and it getting stuck in his tooth and he is sort of handicapped looking:D , then I take it out only to have it happen again cuz he was not finished eating left over food:D hahahah

Well at least now I know goofy little Preston is not alone.
What kind of predicaments dogs can get themselves into!

Wow! I bet that gave you a scare! Thank heavens it was just his tooth caught on his hairs!! :eek: I was getting nervous reading it until I got to that part! LOL!

Mine have never done that, but I'm glad it wasn't something serious.

My long haired chihuahua Sully got her back claw caught in her bloomers hair and my first chi Toby caught his dew claw in his eyelid. :eek:

Poor Preston. I'm glad your story had a happy ending.

I'm so glad it was something so simple. No harm done, either. Well, Kacee has gotten her facial hair caught in her mouth occasionally, but that's about it. They can get in some messes. That's for sure. I know it was a relief when you saw what it was!;)
