Poor Rocky keeps getting hurt The past couple of days Rocky keeps falling down, and I feel really terrible because twice it was my fault :( Yesterday morning I was in the bathroom doing my hair, him and Bella were running around upstairs and all of a sudden he runs in the bathroom and turned really fast that he fell on his side. He was o.k though, just got right back up and kept running. Last night my fiance was in bed and Rocky went to jump on the bed at the end of the bed (where Leo's feet were). Leo moved his feet right as Rocky jumped up on the bed and he fell down flat on his back. I was right there so I grabbed him and made sure he was o.k, again he was fine, acting like nothing happened. Then today I took them for a walk but they got dirty from all the mud outside, so I went to give them a bath. I put him in the bathtub and accidently dropped him! Luckily, it was hard or anything and he was o.k. Then a little bit ago, I'm on the couch and both of them are up here with me. I moved my leg and being an idiot, didn't think of Rocky, and when I swung my leg I knocked him off of the couch. Again, he was o.k but I feel terrible. He probably thinks I hate him :( It's like everytime we do something, Rocky is falling, getting hurt, dropped or whatever. Of course each time I pick him up and hug him, give him kisses and let him give me kisses, but then something happens again. I feel like a bad mommy. I hope he knows no one is hurting him on purpose  |
Poor baby...maybe he is just having a streak of bad luck. |

Bless his heart. I know how bad you feel though....this morning Murfee slid out of my arm. I had new silkie pj's on and was holding him and he squirmed out of my grasp. He gave a little cry and wobbled for a few minutes. After a good check over he was ok but I have felt horrible all day. |
Ok so I wasn't going to tell this story but maybe this will make you feel better! On Sunday nite my friend told me to come over and bring some movies so I got the movies and then wanted some chai tea so stopped and got some tea for both of us and went to her house. When I got there I was trying to figure out how I could bring the movies, the 2 teas, my purse and Teddi all in the house so I grabbed the movies and put them under my arm and opened my purse (it's kinda big) and put Teddi inside then picked up both the teas in each hand. Everything was fine until we got 3 steps from the top of her stairs and she heard us and opened the door...it was like slow motion because I wanted to say NO but didn't have time. She opened the door and her dog ran out so Teddi jumped out of the purse (it wasn't a dog purse so there wasn't a clip or anything to hold her in). Well she fell on the stairs but luckily she fell on her feet kinda but then stumbled and fell through the stairs and we heard a splash. My friend ran down the stairs and then came back up holding Teddi soaking wet with HUGE EYES. Luckily under her stairs the lady who owns the main house has plants and this old bath tub that is a waterfall thing. I think Teddi hit some bushes on the way into the water because she had 2 leaves stuck to her. My friend said she was swimming away frantically in the water. I think that her sweater had instead of becomming a floation device was pulling her down because it was water loged. We took her inside pulled off the sweater and then wrapped her in a towel. I put her in the sink and started blowdrying her when I finished I said how do we know if something is wrong with her and my friend said put her down. So I did and she immediately ran and started playing with my friends dog!! The rest of the night randomly I would say "I can't believe she tried to commit suicide" and my friend would say "I can't believe she pulled a Greg Louganis". She is a 2 lb super dog! Note to self....get Teddi a tiny crash helmet and a life vest! From not on Teddi is going to be zipped in her carrier....I have no idea what I want thinking taking that chance...thank GOD for the swimming pool below, it could have been cement! Now you shouldn't feel so bad about Rocky! |

Thanks for sharing your story, it does help me feel less guilty knowing I'm not the only yorkie-owner who has dropped their baby. I know not to let certain people carry them because they might drop them, but I never think of myself as dropping them. |

I feel bad because Rylie and my cat, Sophie, like to get right under my feet and will stand right behind me and I don't realize they are there...they are constantly getting backed into and kicked. I'm so used to Lacy and my older cat, Kira, who gets out of the way so well... but these two are aweful about getting right under my feet. |
