Don't trust reviews on Puppyfind, word of advice I didn't know if you knew that sellers can remove feedback. I didn't know that. A five star rating doesn't mean they didn't get any negative reviews, just that they deleted them. I thought that was pretty interesting. I had to have some feedback put back on a review from the lady that scammed me last year and after all that trouble, she just deleted the ad. But any seller can remove their negative rating and of course, have people they know leave 5 stars. Some of those puppies on there just look so sad to me. There's one that's only 12 oz at 6 months(so the ad says) and the lady has all positive reviews BUT over the weekend I saw the ad change 3 times, 3 different prices, and it went from "my puppy" to "my friends puppy"that I'm helping her sell. |
Puppyfind is a scary place and it wouldn't be the place I would look for a puppy. I doubt a reputable breeder would advertise on there due to the changes you just described. It is just a place to move the merchandise |
I know some people have had poitive experiences with it, but for me, puppyfind is the last place i would look for a puppy! |
Yes it is TERRIBLE that they can pick and choose from a public site what reviews can stay! There is a horrid, horrid Amish PM that posts several breeds on Puppyfind...we rescued and rehabbed the puppy as he was near the brink of death! I found his puppy find ads and left a review...of course they were deleted and I was appalled. GRRRRR I will never sell a puppy on Puppyfind, nor buy one...I only log on there to make sure our pictures have not been stolen yet again! :( |
Lots of times, it's not even pics of dogs belong to the person...they're nutcases! |

What about Next Day Pets? Has anyone heard anything about them? |
what is a next day puppy? |
I disagree that reputable breeders don't list on puppy find. There are several well respected breeders from YT who list on puppy find. I've read their ads. It's an easily found website that potential buyers often browse during their puppy search. Generally a personal website is included in the ads and those are a wealth of information. I like detailed informative websites...detailing sires and dams, registries, genetic testing provided, guarantees, etc. That is not to say...I haven't looked at a website and decided that a particular breeder is someone I am not interested in purchasing a puppy from. After reviewing their websites...then contact the breeder through their website. You'll find it's very similar to discussing a puppy purchase through someone here...you start out via pm or email and then perhaps a phone call or visit. Any reputable breeder is more than happy to provide information. |
i think there are reputable breeders that list on puppyfind but too many scammers and bad breeders make it a scary place which is too bad for the honest people! before i found YT i was scammed too on puppyfind (shame on me for being too trusting and too naive back then!) but i caught on and was able to cancel that adoption and i got two wonderful furbabies from wonderful, caring breeders! :D |
