Just want to warn people that I do not have any ads on Puppyfind. A jealous breeder actually spent money to have bogus ads under our name Roobear Yorkies.

Beware of any puppy on Puppy Find .... never know if they are real or not !

You would think people would act like adults aye..... If you buy from any Breeder esp in TX Dallas area YOU BETTER DO A HOME VISIT !

I know Mandy and I was shocked that they would pay 30 bucks to have it up. I have had 15 calls for english bulldogs and I have never even seen one in person

One good thing is it brought a lot of traffic to my site :D but they had stolen a pic of frankie and put it up. People need to grow up.

I made my web site look like the red light district warning people it is not my ads.....

I did talk to the Sheriff and we will file charges and it carries a min 10 yr prison term with fines which I would give to rescue. I am not sure what Puppy find is going to do yet but they have all the info since they paid for the ad.

gee so many scammers... so hard to believe what people will do for money or to be hurtful to another person.. thanks for sharing this info..

Wow - I'm sorry. I was just looking at your website last night because I was looking at Biewer breeders...I didn't know you were a YT member. I personally wouldn't use puppyfind to look for a dog...I know there are a few reputable breeders that use it, but you sure do have to weed through a lot of bad ones and scams to get to the good ones.

Puppyfind is notorious for having stolen pictures posted. I personally would never buy from a breeder who listed there just because it is full of puppy millers, byb's and scammers.

They read these forums, too. We've had pictures stolen from the Maltese forum I belong to and every time someone posts about a particular ad with a stolen picture, the ad disappears quickly.

I love YT ... just I do not come on very often.

That Puppyfind is a scary thing if you ask me. I did have Dolce on there but I would not pay to be a member. I got the weirdest calls for her and I took it off. Then I was getting calls for english bulldogs heck I have not ever even seen one of those beastly things in person.

Take your time searching for your baby it is a lifetime choice ;) This whole thing ticks me off ... I am beginning to think this internet is the work of the devil as our neighbors daughter took her life over gossip on this dang thing. Then people doing bogus ads ect...

People will do what ever to harm a person or to make money.

I was going to say, no matter where you look for a puppy beware of scammers.....there are some grubby folks out there. Some folks call them greeders...

i look at puppyfind often to see what is out there and recently as this week, I have seen little Ms. Thang and Toby posted on several states. They were neither one ever posted on puppyfind but were sold to YT members. ms. Thang, aka, gracie, is everywhere right down to her little hair bow

Funny that this thread should show up. Just yesterday eve. I happened across puppyfind.com. I had thought about asking YTers how they can stop themselves from e-mailing some of the sellers with a thought or two (not positive, if you must know.) Call themselves "farms," "puppies have access to grass outside their kennel," "tiny puppies love children." Yikes!:( Lots of red flags. Yepper some are fake. The Cops said the person that did that to me will be for harrassment and flase something and internet fraud fcaa something. Anyway it may get nasty for one jealous person.

I still cannot figure out why someone would waste 30 bucks to post the ads out there. But for them to steal Frankies picture and use it on that site really set me off ... the ad for the bulldogs I would have laughes off but not the one with my Frankie...

I guess I need to research things like that more. So if you guys see my name or babies on that site please let me know.

Someone did that to me last year. I wasn't smart enough to report it then but I sure would it I find my pictures on someone else's ads now.

I've heard of so many pictures getting stolen off of YT and put on puppyfind...what is wrong with people?? It's incredibly sad that so many people are scammers :thumbdown

Ok guys I need some help pretty please. Sad to report that there are ads out there still on various breeds ... remember I did not place these ads but I need help in trying to find them. The person used my daughters name Kim my phone number and our web site www.roobearyorkies.net

If you do try to help me search I only have Biewers and the Yorkies but I think most of you know what my pictures look like. Frankie's pic in his bunny outfit is floating around too and we all know he is not even for sale period. So if you find these bogus ads either report them or copy the link and email it to me at qraven1959@aol.com or just pm it to me

I am going to prosecute this person..... now I want all of you to remember if you ever contact a breeder and they go on about who they know or why they do not show or not in a club or they slam another breeder...club..breed ...ect...be weary of that person.... Please remember it is easy to say all that crap and I have learned the hard way those who brag like that are liars and cheats......

Are you sure it was a jealous breeder? The reason I am asking is because someone went this far with our dogs last summer...you can find the post on here somewhere..lol. But they stole pics from our site, even wording, linked to our site, but if they clicked e-mail in the ad, they got a different e-mail address meant to looks like ours :( I ranted with puppyfind til they deleted it and we tracked it down to someone in Nigeria! They go to great lengths anymore to appear legit!

I just do not like puppyfind, so i guess my advice is to just stay away from it period!

I don't think it is jealous breeders doing it, it is just scammers trying to make a buck. I went through this last year when people started emailing me because when they inquired about an ad, the scammer sent them pictures of my puppies but they were so stupid that all of my picture have my name on them and they didnt even bother to take it off. I dont think there is a way to trace them even if you try. Most are out of Nigeria or out of the country.

That is terrible. I mean, what are they getting out of it anyway...other than to have you receive annoying phone calls for dogs you don't have...I'm assuming noone's sending her money when she's giving bogus contact info....she must be desperate to pay out money and not get any in return..:confused: some people are just crazy! Sorry this is happening to you..what an inconvenience.

I think the other breeder is just trying to be annoying and "send" a message.

Well I think it is a person that I told others about because I would not sell this person a puppy. ever since they have been harrassing. I mean in a crazy way.

Sounds like they need to move on and find something else to do with their time!

When we were trying to find Gracie this summer we used puppyfind. My 11 yr. old daughter did the calling to inquire with me right beside her and 15 out of 20 calls were not the really thing. The emails I sent out all put one response came back that they had to make an emergancy trip out of the country.

We happen to find Gracie from an ad in our newspaper.

If I get another yorkie I have learned a lot with getting Gracie and I would defininately do things different. We would not trade her for anything she is a good dog but would defininately be a little smarter.

I do have several like breeder ads out there but most of the calls I get make me skeptical. I did have a list of people waiting for a baby from us but it was lost when HP died on us :( I loved that computer. The last babies we had I did place an ad in the local paper and placed the babies. I made 2 good friends as well. The cutest part was a 13 yr old girl had save her money and wanted me to let her pay the puppy out but I just could not do that. She handed me a stack of dollar bills and quarters and I told her to use the rest for the vet. I was amased at the eagerness of this child and the almost instant bond she and that pup had. I know some people will say I am a soft touch and I do not care the love and joy was more important than any dollar bill. I had given a pup to 2 sisters in MI a few yrs back and man they still warm my heart with each phone call and email with pictures. So my point is on that puppy find thing is how many of those people really get to hear how their puppies are doing ? DO they even care ? Do the people that buy from these people really get a good healthy baby or do they get a baby that will need forever medical care ect... I can't think this morning to ealry but think you all understand what I am saying.

I only have a few litters so really do not need to have anything on the internet not sure why I do as it only creates trouble. A lot of scammers out there and it is sad.
