AMAZING training tool!!! I was cleaning my keyboard last week and my little Kayla Sue started to bite on my feet. She has been the toughest puppy to train of any I have ever had. I have tried everything. I sprayed her with the Memorex Air duster which is just pressurized air in a can. She stopped and ran off. I have used it for all behavior issues since and she is improving 100 %. I can just say "CAN" and she stops whatever she is doing. I am hoping this is the final solution to her problems. I wish I had discovered it before as she is now 9 months old and been so much work as extremely hard to train when it comes to chewing and biting. This really has done wonders....:D :D |
I've thought about using the air in a can, too, but one of the girls I work with has a permanent scar on her arm from the vapor inside it. There's even a warning on the back of the can about burns/frostbite if it comes in contact with skin. Just an FYI, I'm glad it works for you, though. |

I think it is more of the noise thing as it doesn't really get close to her. |
I use this with the cats but never thought to use it with dogs good idea. |

Well that is too funny. I also know sometimes you can put tabs or something in a soda can. Like even nails cover the hole. Then rattle it really hard when they do something and they will stop. They don't like the noise. |
Canned air as a training tool? What a great idea! Instead of saying "can" when you want him to stop a behavior, you can just say "can it!!" Yep, I'll sure be trying this  Thanks! |
