Way to go!!! Quote:
Funny thing is Geraldo is from the same town in Jersey that I am, and he is generous with charities and would probably LOVE to be a MILL-BUSTER!! (Loves to get behind causes of the average man. You know, gain the American's trust again after that whole Capone's vault mess!! LOL Gain back a little street cred!!) Great job, reconsmom!!! |
The Spy-Girls Chanel & Cheri want to tell you Kelly.... After hearing about your sucessful Spy Mission - that you are their new hero ....and Recon is the hot side-kick ...I think they're wanting a blown up pic of him to hang by their beds.... We'll call it RECON Undercover...how cool is that - can he pose in his camouflage ? |
Kelly~ I guess you've seen it all. Are there a lot of puppymills there? Did you do raids when you were with animal control? Just curious what that's like. Maybe yu could hare a story or two. I know that's amish country and they are notorious puppymillers. Please let us know what happens to this one. Oh,btw, I've been meaning to ask what ever happened to that dog that wa shot by the car in Georgia and you got animal control to take it to the vet? I never heard what his injuries were and if he made it or not. Just curious. |
Double LMAO Quote:
Reconsmom darting from shrub to shrub WITH RECON PERCHED ON TOP OF HER HEAD!! LMAO I am way too easily amused, aren't I!! |
Southern Wisconsin isn't Amish country. |
You were very brave Kelly and thank you for caring enough to go check it out.BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! Even tho there might not be a person around you never know if they might have a guard dog or two wandering around. These people are protecting a business and you never know what lengths they will go to to protect it. I am glad everything went good and Animal Control is going to check it out, I hope they shut that creep down. |
$$$$ Ditto $$$$ Like I said before... Quote:

I'm loving the "darting shrub to shrub" comments...what a visual ! Next thing we'll see is Kelly with her own TV Show - Mill Busters in Wisconsin...Starring Kelly and her undercover dog - Recon....Chanel and Cheri already have stars in their eyes just THINKING about it |

You're getting me started!! Now I have this "Charlies Angels" :angel2dl: visual, with Recon being the cool dude instructing your girls whose butt to kick and your girls going out and doing the kickin'!! LOL Wonder if Drew Barrymore would be interested in the movie rights! (LOL all over again!) She can produce, Reconsmom can direct and supervise the missions, and Villette, you would be there to assure "Spy Girl" authenticity!! Maybe vainchick would let Coco be the 3rd angel since she already has the gorgeous wardrobe??? First WI, then the WORLD!! LMAO |
You guys are all too funny. When I asked for this to not become a debate I didn't really know that it would become my big break to stardom or Recons for that matter. This is actually the first time that I have seen or heard of a puppymill in Wisconsin. We dont really have that many Amish and the ones that we do have are close to the Iowa border. Most of the stuff that I have dealt with when I worked for animal control was busting illegal dog fighting. Recon would be more than happy to model for Chanel and Cheri. Recon may be neutered but he is still a stud. LOL |
You guys are crackin me up!!!!!! Charlie's angels!!!! Spy girls!!!! Not being allowed on mommy's head cuz she has gas!!!! I needed this laugh tonight!!!! Thanks guys!!!! |
Well, I guess the details about your visit were all that were needed to persuade those amongst us who had any doubts..As for laws--those people in order to sell wholesale, which is how they deal with brokers, need USDA licenses. They also need the same license to sell goats, pigs, cows, all livestock. Someone with more info about the laws governing that will probably post to clarify..Bottom line is, as long as the animal has protection from the weather, has access tofood and water, the law is being abided by. Again, that is my understanding but I am no expert so that is IMHO.. |
Puppymill You are some detective...Please be careful tough... |

The Girls are waitin for Pin-Up Boy Recon to show his stuff in pictures now - believe me ...when they want something - they go after it !! |
I'm glad that you went and shared this with all of us. I personally don't know much about puppymills but you really shed some light on them. I would think and hope that the conditions you described would be illegal. I have watched Animal Planet's Animal Cops show where they rescue mistreated animals. It sounds like a place they would visit. Those poor dogs! We need to educate more people about the conditions they suffer. |

I guess that was just another one of his lies. He said on his wevbsite that it was Amish country and that's why it was so easy to get a lot of hired help who were trained in animal husbandry. My bad. :( |
Quote:
MOST didn't know - then you tell them about Pet Stores and mills...you'd be surprised how shocked they are - then they tell 2 friends, who tell 2 friends ...and so on .... |
Don't be sorry Kim. Nothing to be sorry about. I just know for sure (since I live so close) that there aren't really Amish in Wisconsin (thankfully!). But I guess I learned something too, since I didn't know there were some near the Iowa border. |
Good freakin' job, Kelly! You are like the official Detective of YorkieTalk. You're bringing down all the evil criminals and bold-faced liars one-by-one! No matter how much puppymills try to hide behind a wall of lies and deceit.. someoen will expose the public to truth. :p |
In all honesty and seriousness guys...I think the mill busters shirt would be such a conversation starter???? With all the people that think Maximus is soo cute and come over to look at him..out of curiousity they would ask what does that mean?..and it could give us a intro into going into exactly what and who supports puppymills, THEY ASKED!!! Many people just don't know and that could probably make a little small dent..even if it stops 1 person..if I had sewing talent I would make them..but I don't even have cooking talent..lol..but I would sooo support it, kind of like pink ribbons for breast cancer...I would buy for Maximus and any other dogs I know..the PROFITS could go to a organization trying to shut down puppymills or towards pet store protests?\ *** And woooweee..those who don't think Maximus has gas..let me tell you silent but deadly!!!! This morning he smoked me out of the bedroom!!! |
Poor little Maximus! Mommy is talkin' bad about you. How could that sweet little boy make such a stinky. Samantha, we're on to ya girl. Blame it on the dog, yeah right, lol! JK!! You do have a very good point about the mill busters shirt. And they should be made for us too. I wonder if Admin could add it to our YorkieTalk products on Cafe Press. How bout it Admin??? |
The Buster-Mill shirt is an awesome idea. I agreed with Samamtha and Cynthia. Aww, Maximus you make a stinky. :yelrotflm That's too funny. Maximus we still love you with that sweet face. ;) |
