TO JEANIETOO:what an incredibly insensitive comment to make. someone you do not even know comes to this board for help and all you can do is slam her because YOUR IN A BAD MOOD!!!. here is a brief lesson in life , its called the wheelbarrow syndrome, people start there day out with an empty wheelbarrow , throughout the day they fill it up with all the crap life throws at them. then when the opportunity arises they dump there full load on an innocent person.

Just a thought, maybe you could get a police officer to accompany you? Sometimes they will help you out if they have a little free time. I hope everything works out for the best and that you get your babies surgery!

I just found this thread and want to add my prayers this all work outs for you and your precious baby. Please keep us all updated.

Praying your dad will loan you the money, the vet will do the surgery asap, and except the balance when you get your returns. Praying this will be a short legal problem that can be resolved soon. May this pet store owner pay up and close down his pet selling business.

well i have great news!!!! my father is going to lend me the money!!! i will have my taxes back soon. probably in about a week... i am going for a consultation with the surgeon this morning.. i am going to schedule the surgery for the friday two weeks from now, i have to wait two weeks because she has to be off the vitamin E supplements for that long to avoid blood clotting during surgery. i am also getting the statement from the surgeon of how much the surgery is going to cost. i need that statement for the case. and i will be serving all the paperwork to the pet store this evening... :D .. you know guys, all i gotta say is GOd is good and without all the prayers yours and mine this would have not happened... like someone said, all will fall into place, and i truley believed that, and let me tell you wonderous people have helped me in this process like i could never have imagined...there really people out there who care and love as much as we do. and just when you think all doors are closed one opens wider than you ever dreamed....

SO so so so HAPPY for you! I'm so glad it is working out for you! I have my boy Maxx who is 11 now, but in the past have run into medical issues with him (he's allergic to EVERYTHING lol) and financial problems and have always somehow by the grace of God gotten him the medical care he's needed. Please let us know how things are going with your baby. :)

when i posted this thread, i had no idea what kind of response i would get.. all i knew is that i loved my dog and i had to get help for her surgery. i recieved so much love from all you guys, not only that but i was awakened to the law regarding Bell's case. it amazes me how much people can care for others they have never even met. i just reviewed all the posts everyone sent me, i am so so so grateful for all of you fellow yorkie lovers. i shared Bell's story to a few people at my work, etc, no one has shared their heart and support like all of you.
but you know the best thing that has happened? Bell is actually at the hospital now. she had her surgery this morning... :cheer: :yay_jump: i heard from the vet about 2 hours ago and so far so good. she had the shunt repaired, got spayed and most of her everlasting baby teeth out. they couldn't get the fangs because the doc didn't want to leave her under anestesia any longer... i get to bring her home friday:)
i also have to tell you that her getting her surgery was only possible because someone did actually reply to my post with a very blessed financial donation...
you know what guys, it only takes one person to make a difference. one person to change a situation that looks too big to handle to a situation that is reachable... this person made a donation from their heart, they read my post, believed it was not a scam, and allowed themselves to be an angel to us.
when i woke up that morning last week when i started this thread, i didn't expect much, i was just doing what my heart was telling me to. sometimes you have to listen to your inner self, (i call it the Lord speaking, he answered my and all your prayers.) i had been stessing, praying, searching for some help, and my goodness someone came to our rescue.
i can't wait to get her home and maul her with kisses... i miss her so much, my house is so empty with out her.. i don't hear her little feet walking beside me, i don't hear her running through the house with her pooh bear stuffed animal, i don't have her scratchin at my legs as write this, but thankfully i will have all these things again soon, and hopfully for a very long time!
lastly, i want to say, never think that there isn't someone who is willing to help. never think that people don't care. don't always think people are just trying to scam you, some of us are truley sincere... but most of all i want to thank you all for EVERY PRAYER and EVERY HOPEFUL THOUGHT SENT OUR WAY... and lastly, we are all so lucky so have a website to come on and share all our stories of our little babies! this story guys i have to say belongs in the history book, "Bells' fight for her life, the full story of her happy, healthy ending" ...:teeth: :yorkietal

God bless this person who was able to help you save your baby whomever it was is a true ANGEL if you are out there i want you to know that you did a wonderful thing you saved this baby and you are a shining angel in my eyes and even though i may never know your name i will never forget you or what you have done.


I am so glad to hear that your little Bell is getting the care that she needs i cannot wait until you have that sweet little baby back in your arms again and when you do please give her a kiss and hug for me :)
