When I get my new yorkie, will it be TERRIBLE
 
Will it be a terrible thing to do to call the new baby boy when I get him the name Scoobydo? For some reason I truly love this name and our little one didnt have time to live and use it. Will this be bad? I have prayed and prayed and I think I will not get another breed before I get a yorkie baby:(

yes, that would be fine- i had a friend that has done that! Penny, then Penny-2 I call her 2 cents sometimes-LOL
I think Scoobydo-2 sounds pretty good!:thumbup:

Thanks, we had discussed it and both of us said the same and was thinking the same. I wonder if this will confuse Bandit?:confused:

One of the ladies that bought one of my puppies, had a yorkie 15 yrs, she lost him 3 months ago. His name was Buffy because shes from Buffalo NY. So she decided to name the new one Buffy too. Not to take his place but in honor of him. I think if that is what your heart tells you to do you should.

Nah, as linda44 says eloquently, just do what your heart tells you. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I suppose, it is just that he didnt get to live to live out his name and I truly like that name. I guess when I see the new puppy when ever that is, I will make this final decision. As long as it does not confuse my pommie:rolleyes:

You never know, when you get the puppy he may not look like a scoobydoo.

I think you should get a little boy Yorkie puppy as soon as possible. Your heart needs a little one to love. And I know Scoobydo will look down from the Rainbow Bridge and be very honored that you gave another little one a good home and named the new baby Scoobydo too.

I think it is fine. My husband named Dixie (RIP) because he wanted a Pixie and Dixie. Now that Dixie passed way to early too I personally didn't like Dixie as her name because it was so close to Pixie and they did get confused when calling one.

The thing is this, I am looking for one who looks like scooby did when he was frist brought home:) may not find him, and am still waiting on this woman to contact me with that puppy. The thing is this, this puppy who is ten months is what scooby would have looked like had he lived:(

I had a cassie that died, female.. so then years later, I got a male and named him kacee.. so I think it is ok personally.. but who am I.. LOL

A friend of mines mother has had three yorkies and they all have had the same name. Mazzi!

I see nothing wrong with that at all. I sometimes think I should have called my Pixie \'Heidi\' instead, I lost Heidi last may after 14 years with me and i keep calling Pixie that by mistake! it does make me sad sometimes:(
