I wished I lived near her. I would be sneeking into her yard saving as many as I could. Then let her call the cops so they can see why I'm doing it. I think I could get quite a few people to help me. It will be NEWS AT 11. MMMMM!!!!, does she live alone. Keep up the good work hun. |

Thats awsome news |
:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: You are proof that one person CAN make a difference! |
SO AWESOME!! can't wait to hear all the details!! |
Ok guys i got these 2 emails right after (sorry i ran out to go see) "Are you near there? My Vice President there right now. I beleive you spoke to ____." "Feel free to run over there and watch. _____ would love to meet you I am sure." Ok well hubby ran me down there and they were already gone :( So he drove me all over the town they were the lady lived well no luck so i called her and she told me thank you for contacting them and THAT THEY GOT EVERY LAST DOG OUT OF THERE! And i ask her so how was it when you got there? And she said oh my it was just as bad as what you said. I had to ask her because i thought since i was a animal lover that i might have exagerated (sp) a bit but she confirmed i wasn't at all that is was horrible there. Ok well she got a beep and had to go so i didn't get to find out anything else from her so i had hubby drive me to our local humane society and he got out and was walking around to see if he could find out of state plates (looking for petite paws rescue) well a woman stepped out and ask if she could help him and he explained to her about the lady in Mitchell and the bust and all that and she goes hold on a minute and another lady walked out and said so your wife is the one that posted all over the internet and got the stink started and he said yep and she would love to meet you so i jumped out of the blazer and ran to meet and talk to her she told me that petite paws had been down at the police station since this afternoon and that the police kept telling them that they would get a warrant sent out Monday and petite paws wouldn't hear of it they kept at them until they got it done TODAY! So anyways they got the warrant and called humane society and got them down there to get the babies out of there and the times mail paper was there to and i was told it will be on the front page either tomorrow or Monday so i will be posting a link to that on here when it comes out and in all 31 dogs were rescued (even her pet yorkie) tonight i ask about the yorkie babies and Melissa (humane society) told me that one passed away yesterday and one passed away this morning and i feel so horrible about that i cried when she told me even hubby was crying about it but i keep telling myself i did a good thing that even though they were not all saved many were (even though i feel it wasn't enough) 31 babies got taken to safety. But that is not the end of it all they said that they have to go to court because the woman refused to sign custody of them over to the humane society and ask if i would be willing to go in and testify and i said OH YES!!!! So i might be going to court this coming week also she told me after they go to court and get custody then they will be up for adoption and they will need homes for them they also said petite paws offered to help by fostering some but there are going to be so many that need homes. Mary Ok now i have to give a huge special thanks and all the hugs she can stand to Mom2BabyNatalie she gave the sites and the info of people to contact and one of those people (petite paws) are the ones that made this happen so everyone lets all give Mom2BabyNatalie a big :ghug: and a big :bravo: hun thank you so much for the help! And for all the yt'rs this is for you :ghug: :bravo: because without you i would have never had the courage to go forward :yorkietal |

Way to go. Sounds like it could be promising and it was further than you were the last time. So maybe you just keep checking in amd see what happens. I'm so happy you got the people all involved and maybe there is some hope for these little ones. I hope so its so sad to know people treat them like that. I hope they get her out and her name is all over the news. |

You are my hero as you didn't give up and you didn't turn your back on this awful situation. Most people would have as it was to much work to do what you did. You didn't let up. My only wish is that more people were like you. I also want to commend all the rescue groups that came together and also took action so the voice of the "animal lovers" were heard and the police took action. It doesn't always happen this way. The next leg of this is what will happen to the woman. I hope if there is a trial that you know when that is going to happen so you can get everyone to write to the Judge to throw the book at her and not return any of the dogs to her. |

Oh and the smell i was talking about that hit me in the face when i walked in her trailer it was described to me by Melissa as a death smell and you know i never thought about it at the time but she is right it smelled like dead and dieng animals :( I am just glad to see that they got her shut down! Knowing something could be done has moved me so much that i have ask them if i can start volunteering at the humane society with anything they need done like cleaning cages, walking dogs, giving baths, transporting etc. and they said of course i can!!! |

The smell of death is not something you will ever forget. :( Good for you volunteering as there are many things many people can do. Some can do rescue, some can foster, some can help at animal control or humane societies, some can donate, some can help look at homes, and some can write to the legislation to help end these types of things. Every bit helps and I would hope any animal lover would help in anyway they can. Again, it took a lot of people to help save these animals but it would not have happened if you hadn't raised the flag. |
 I haven't been able to read all the updates [we are out of town] but just had a minute to peek in. Max's Momma, I can't tell you how much your persistence is appreciated! Thank you for all the babies rescued and for all those that will be rescued because of your unselfish act of love & kindness!! It's just amazing what can be done when just one person speaks out for these little ones!! Good job!! |
Awesome!!!! Way To Go!!!!! |
OMG!!!! I am jumping up and down with joy......awesome job:thumbup:   . I think what you did will give others the same courage to be as agressive and report these no good puppy mills...I know it has for me ;) |

:thankyou2 WHAT YOU DID IS AWESOME - YOU ROCK! :number1ri (Will you be at the YT meet up in June?) |
Keep Us Posted Please You are fantastic! :thumbs up Now I hope they deal appropriately with the owner. We had something similar happen in TN. Over 100 dogs were rescued from a similarly deplorable situation. Some of the dogs died. Some had to be put down because they were so diseased from lack of care!!! After the owner went to court, about 10 animals were returned to her! Her reasoning was the courts were taking away her livelihood! I hope the courts in Indiana send the message that this kind of livelihood will not be tolerated!!! |
