How Does Your Yorkie Say, "Hello!" I've had Linus for 5 months now and up until last week everday when I came home, he greeted me with lots of jumping and licking. Last week, he changed his tune, as soon I come home now, he runs straight to his favorite toy and brings it right over to me. I think he's telling me that he's been waiting for me to come home and play with him all day! :) What does your yorkie do to welcome you home? |
i rarely leave dex alone, but if we do go out without him, he will come running to the door then seek out the cat and start "attacking" him. lol. poor kitty. i suppose its his way of saying "the cat will pay if you leave me alone again!!!" :rolleyes: |

Yumi does a series of running to the door then leaping back into her basket and then back to me. Then she sits in her basket cocks her head back and does like a wolf howl/low growl...like she is sending the call that mommy is home. It's very cute! Then once I make it in and start putting my stuff down she jumps up towards me dancing on her hind legs until I scoop her up. Then she goes crazy nuzzling my neck and licking my ear. Every day it's the same...and it's always puts a smile on my face. Because I know she misses me. |

Buddy jumps on me as soon as I open the door and dosen't stop until I yell:( I know it's been a long day but even after I talk, hug and kiss him he dosen't stop. I can't even get his sweater and harness on him until I yell, then he wiggles his tooch around trying not to jump on me again. :p It never fails. 3 1/2 yrs of the samething. Someone loves me I think and it's mutual. |
Maxwell waits in the window for 40 minutes every day. But when I come in, he's very excited, but won't let me pick him up. I have to wait and he comes to me when he's ready. |
Gracie runs to meet us then lies down and wiggles her little bum then we pet her. She is not left alone very often. |

we were in florida at christmas at a woman was in her car and asked if she could hold layla so i said ok.. and she said to me... Oh look.. she is saying hello with her ears :) Layla does.. they go up and down up and down.. its so cute |

Well I keep Teddi in the kitchen but she hears my car drive up and by the time I am coming up to the front I can hear her crying. She cries and jumps up and down until I come and get her out then I get tons of licks!! Love my girl! |
Jambo shoots a sharp bark as I near the door then I hear his little feet scurrying fast as he can up/down the stairs to beat me to the door. His ears go all the way back, tail wagging feverishly. He gets so excited. The minute I pick him up he licks me like a tootsie roll. I've tried to make him wait so he can calm down but them he makes this moaning sound. I tell him to sit and he will sit body a quiver still, but the minute I pick him up he is all over me. When I leave him upstairs with the gate up so he can't get down to the doorway, he runs to the bars next to the entry and will even try to squeeze through. As if he could ....now that he is a big boy but I still think he can be crazy sometimes. |
Nolee runs to the door. Waits for us to put our things down and then sits anxiously by our feet making that same small growling noise until we pick him up and pet him. Then I can't leave his sight. He follows me everywhere!:dribble: |
Zander goes back and forth excitedly with a toy in his mouth, always a toy in his mouth. Jazzie, hears the car being parked in the garage so she will start barking - to me it means, hurry mommy, hurry, I've got kissies for you, orr hurry I've got to tinkle :confused: . When I come in, I tell her to sit, she sits as I am putting her harness on. We then go outside, she tinkles and thennn we kiss, kiss, kiss, same with Zander. After kissies I take the leash off the harness and tell them - go play and they both take off like horses at a race :D . |
