Attack of the Miller Moth! Oh my gosh! This morning, I put Snoodles food down, and she was scared for some reason to eat it. She wanted to, but something was scaring her. So, I stood by the bowl and told her it was okay! Then at supper time, she was jumping and barking and was scared to death. Sure enough, there was a miller moth on the side of the cupboard and she was scared to death. I put it on the floor, and she would jump and bark around it, but the minute it moved, she would go running and jumping away from it. I laughed myself sick as did my husband. She was so funny. Are you sure they use to kill rats in England? Ha! Ha! Snoodles would have been fired the first few minutes. Brave she is not! I mean, how big is a miller moth for God's sake? Ha! Pat |
How funy!!!! Its soo funny how they can seem to be sooo fearless of sooo many things, then be scared to death of a moth or an ant!!! Which Luig is!!! We go for walks- and he will stop dead if he sees an ant or a spider!!! Its sooo funny!!!!! And sorry if there are any spelling mistakes or anyhting-- Luig is laying on my head right now and has one paw covering one eye!!! hahah!!!! |
Not sure I can still post....has been so long b/c of nursing school....but I had to add that mine will catch flies, eat spiders, chase frog/toads etc. but are scared to death of the fire hydrant in the neighbors yard. This is the second fire hydrant they are scared of. I thought dogs went wee on hydrants....not my two! |
That is so cute - I bet you were laughing your butts off - I smiled picturing that - They think they're soooo tough and stand up to practically ANYTHING bigger then they are - and a MOTH brings out hysteria ? too cute :D It's so YORKIE-Like ! |
The cicadas are coming out of their shells right now in Texas. There was an emerged one on the driveway this morning. Maggie went up to it and dang near PP'd in her fur. It started making that rattling sound and then flew off. We also noticed a lot of cicada killers out. They look like giant wasps. Totally harmless unless you squeeze one. We have to convince Maggie not to squeeze any. I agree with you on the "Rat Killers". Everytime Maggie barks, she backs up a foot. By the time she has barked 20 times, she is back in the house. |
Don't feel bad my baby is a scared of junebugs. At least her feets didn't fail her like Gus's did. Poor little guy tried to get away but couldn't. |
That is so funny. I agreed I think Gucci will get fired also on her firt min on the Job as a Rat hunter, lol. She is scared of everything. She barks and barks and always ends up in my lap. |
Bug Crossing Sophie really is starting to notice the ants outside and tries to eat them as they go by.... I try to watch her for that...I never know a regular ant from one of those fire ants that bite... She pays attention to every little thing.... |
Poor little baby scared of such a big old moth. That was too funny. |
Aww, that is too cute. :p I wish I were a fly on your wall to see that. But then again, I might scare her! Hee,hee! |
