Petsmart Attack I just read this in my hometown paper. So sad!!!!! Adorable, defenceless yorkie, poor baby and poor Mommy. I have to say some of the bigger dogs walking around freak me out. http://www.swo.ctv.ca/news.php?id=61...42e20129375440 |
oh that is so sad! |
Awww that is so sad! |
Poor baby, he must have been so scared:cry: And it's poor Mommy, how traumatized she must be as well:unlove: |
That is so sad, it makes me worry. |
That is horrible. If I ever take buttons to Pet Smart, I will deffinately hold her. My heart goes out to the mommy. |
I have never and will never take mine into a pet store of any kind. Just too dangerous with other dogs and germs. |
That is so sad:( I will never take my babies in unless i am holding them i feel for that family and their poor baby |
That is so sad. I always put my girls in the cart if they go with me. I've seen too many owners of larger dogs that do not have good restraint on their dogs and/or do not know how to handle their dog in public environments...I would be devastated! |
Oh that is so sad. I stop going to Petsmart because IMO the employee's never say anything to the pet owners with unruly pets. Plus, Petsmart is so busy and have way to many rescues there at a time. I have been going to Petco, and when I have gone there it has not been busy and no other dogs where there at the time. |
that is so sad, i always see big dogs w/ no leash on at petsmart i took Belle in her stroller there yesterday, i felt so much better than having her walk around-- put the purchases on the bottom basket of the stroller... it went great |
This was all ready posted in the sick/emergency forum. |
So sad. |
omgggg thats soo sad the baby was soo cute....i always carry martini in petco we never let her loose...i dont trust dogs especially since martini loves to play they may take it the wrong way...omg i would sue the pants off petsmart...the loss of a baby and for emotional distress |
Oh - that is terrible - all these sad stories make me so sad. |
So sad. |
Wow I did not see the original thread.. I do not take mine to pet stores for that very reason.. too many people with big dogs that do not care if there dogs attacks others.. Now I will find the other thead to see what actually happened to the dog.. pooh's mum |
When i take them to Petsmart on occasion i always put them in the Shoppingcart, and mostly Mine are the unruly ones  Poor Pup ! |
That's just awful:( ! I guess it's a good lesson for all of us who bring our babies in with us, keep AWAY from strange dogs. Even small ones, you just never know what the temperament will be. I my heart just breaks for those poor people, I can't even imagine that happening to my Bella:( |
That's so sad. The poor woman must be devestated. |
I don't trust big dogs at all anymore. Two years ago, I had a yorkie ripped out of my arms by a black lab while I was out walking him one day (in my own neighborhood). The owner of the black lab, had him on a leash but couldn't hold him back. I saw the dog coming and was picking my baby up when he got him. I had to have him put to sleep because he severed his spinal column and was in so much pain. It was the most horrible thing I've ever experienced. I had nightmares for almost a year and will always miss my Kramer. I threatened to sue the owners and they paid me so that I could get another yorkie. I still walk my dogs but I carry a bat and pepper spray. I don't hesitate to use the bat if a dog comes at us. I've actually used it on 3 different dogs. Never trust another big dog with your little ones. The owner of this lab said he had never been mean to another dog before. |
Sometimes I think the large dogs must think the little dogs are stuffed animals or if they love chasing squirrels, then they may think that's what they are. I don't think most of the attacks are from aggressive dogs, just stupid mistakes stupid dogs make. Our dogs have never had one paw on any store floor. We take a sheep fleece pad that fits perfectly in the cart and that's where they go. I don't take chances with mine. |
