does anyone else HATE when people do this? so earlier, at around 7, i had like 5 of my friends come over (4 never been to my house before). we're all 13 or 14ish. we were all in my family room . Caden came prancing down all happy and content cause he was freshly bathed and groomed wearing his cashmere sweater and matching baby blue bow . EVERYONE but my one friend that was used to seeing him dressed up said things like 'oh my god kelli ! wat the hell did you do to that thing ?!' or 'dont you know its just a dog ?!' or 'your torturing the damn thing !' . I was flipping outt !!! soo ... to make matters WORSE apparently, i put him in his carrier to bring him upstairs and put him into his bed cause i didnt wanna cause a scene . then they were ridiculing the fact that i put him in a carrier, and THEN they had the nerve to follow me to my room to find his little corner full of all his stuff (bed, blenkat, closet etc.) AND THEN hammered me for that ! i was fuming !!! UUGGGHHHHH !!!!!  :thumbdown sorry ... i needed to vent . |
sounds like stupidity or jealousy....take your pick.. |
I'm sorry. :( I personally wouldn't give the time of day to someone that didn't like my dog or felt the need to make fun of me because of her |

I would not worry about them! Sounds like a bit of jealousy to me. When I take my girls out and they are dressed I get comments also. Sometimes nice ones, sometimes not. I just shrugg it off, afterall what is the worst they can do? go to school and tell everyone your dog wears clothes?!:p Take care! |
Okay, I can understand them not liking the clothes (although they should keep their mouths shut about it) and maybe all dogs don't have a closet of their own but what is wrong with putting a dog in a carrier? They are either jealous or feel the need to put everybody down. |
Ah don't pay attention to it...YOU know the truth...;) Sounds like silly 13 year old stuffs to me...:p I remember that age lol ;) |

Do not even let them get to you. I have a teenage son and his friends love our two girls but they do make comments and tease me about their hair or clothes. I just laugh...they have their thing I have mine, and the girls like the attention they get from the boys even if they tease them because they will play with them. |

i agree . it wouldnt have bothered me if they were just laughing and jokinh about it, but they were dead serious and were literally yelling in my face about it . ugghh :thumbdown |
friends You can either take it as now you know who your friends are or better yet: You are only 13 or 14 and boys that age have no filter. What they think comes straight out. Now you know how the feel and you disagree. There are going to be many people in your life who don't agree w/ things you do. You are more prepared for that now. |
Sounds to me like they have no clue what it's like to really love a pet. And as far as I'm concerned, if you've never known the love of an animal, you've never known love. I pity them and their ignorance. You're the lucky one. |
dont worry about them!! they are probably just jealous!! don't let them know it gets to you.. cuz they will probably just tease you MORE!! just brush it off, cuz you are A GREAT lil mama |
