And it has nothing to do with the furbabies this time it is because my ex-husband may not let 2 of my boys go with us because we would be leaving on the 13th and they would be gone during father's day :( It isn't like it was planned to be on father's day that was just when my mothe in laws time share became available. So it looks like i might have stressed over leaving the furbabies behind for nothing. Just talked to him on the phone about it and he is being a real butt about it saying ya know it is fathers day and it is my weekend ugggggggggghhhhhhh can't win for losing. sorry all just needed to vent

Maybe he would consider going down to Disneyworld himself and they could stay with him a couple of days and not miss the fun?

IVE ALWAYS HEARD WHAT EVER THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD IS AND GOING TO DISNEY IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME THING FOR SOME WE ACTUALLY WENT LAST YEAR AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME BUT HE CAN CHANGE FOR ONE YEAR THE DAY HE CELEBRATES FATHERS DAY WITH HIS KIDS AFTER ALL IT IS JUST A DAY JMO I DONT KNOW THE WHOLE RELATIONSHIP BUT IT MAY BE BECAUSE HE IS JEALOUS HE IS NOT TAKING THEM :eek:

I think you hit the nail on the head! Because for 4 years straight he has ask me can i take the boys to Florida for a week to visit my grandmother and of course i always said yes. But then he would get their hopes up and not take them he would always say well boys will have to wait and go next year. Right now he has the upper hand because there is nothing in the court papers about being allowed any vacation time only regular scheduled parenting time. And he is so horrible that for the last 2 years my husband and i have paid for everything for the boys i got tired of it and took him to court myself (no lawyer) and ask for 40 dollars a week to help out with their school supplies and lunch and stuff and also he has been claiming them both for taxes the last 6 years and i was asking for the right to claim one and he claim one from now on well it has to go to a mediator before it can go in front of a judge and the mediator said this doesn't sound bad at all do you agree to this and he said loudly NO! So believe me he is a cruel uncaring butt munch

I hope so to because yes i can leave my furbabies but i cannot leave my skin kids behind that would kill them and they would hate me forever for sure and omg i would feel like such a evil person:(

Family Law Is Strict Here In Texas About The Best Interest Of The Child So He Is Using Your Children As A Crutch And That Is Sad Those Boys Need To Be Boys And Have A Normal Life Whatever You Do Dont Talk About Their Dad In Front Of Them You Be The Bigger And Better Person And In The End They Will See Mama Truly Cared And Loved Them And Nurtured Them And That They Were Your Best Interest.. Always Find Something Good To Say About Their Dad I Know It May Be Hard But You Will Be The Hero In The End I Promise You!!!

OMG are were we married to the same Jack A$$. They never think of what the children want only what they are missing.. Not like they really are there in the first place.

I second this suggestion. As hard as it is not to speak ill of their jacka$$ father don't do it around them at all. It will work in your benefit in the end. Patience is the key trust me it is. I've been dealing w/ this for a couple years now and finally everything is panning out right. so it seems.. Always Alway Always remember: WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. he will get what is coming to him, all in due time..

Oh trust me i know i have bit my lip many times to keep from saying something about him in front of them. I know how it would hurt them if i did because they have came back crying and when i ask them what was wrong they said Melissa their dad's wife was saying bad things about me and talking bad about me and it bothered them. SO yes def. i know not to talk bad about him in front of them because he is their dad and no matter how bad of a person he is they love him. I hope your right because that would mean the world to me to think that my boys thought of me as their hero!!!!!!!!

My kids never got to see the crazy stuff their dad did and said to me and my parents. This summer he went crazy and told them he never wanted to see them again and a whole lot of horrible stuff! So in the end us keeping his craziness from them worked out better because they saw it first hand and didn]t have to think we were trying to turn them against him.

Just to give you a clue... my ex came over and drown their puppy one time. That is the kind of man he is! But now they know and we are the good guys still! We never ran him down, even though he always did us!

Pray Pray Pray. Offer mother's day to him. He will enjoy taking that from you so it may work.

OMG SICK MONSTER!!!!!!!!!! You know that might work he would love to take mother's day from me and believe it or not he actually has before because it was his weekend to have them and it isn't in the papers about mothers or fathers day so there was nothing i could do it was "HIS TIME HIS DAY SO I WAS SH*T OUT OF LUCK" At least that is what he told me
