Buddy Belt 2 Attachment(s) Ok everyone, I found out about the most amazing collar through a lady in Canada who is also a yorkie lover. It is called the buddy belt and unlike the harness or collar completely avoids the neck. It looks like a figure eight and fits around the legs and straps above the back shoulder blades. The lady that invented it made it for her dog because she also had problems with the neck area. Plus they fit dogs from 1lb and up!!! Check it out, I know they are expensive, but this will help save our babies from any throat trauma. I just had to share. Look for a dealer in your area, or you can order them online. http://www.buddy-belts.com/m_4.asp |

oh ya! i have seen this and i think it will work best for yorkies... i was just wondering about the sizing ... my doggie is 5lbs. and some oz. (im not sure how much) but hes rather slim i was wondering if anyone has it and what size will work best for a 5lber. ??? i actually got a nylone set in harness yesterday and it seems to be working well im just paranoid it still affects his throat... |
How much does it cost? I couldn't find the price. |
The Buddy Belt was the first harness I ever bought for my boys and I love it! It is shaped to fit to their body and is not bulkyy like so many of the others so it is more comfortable for them. It is about $50 I think...cna't rememember exactly. There was a period in their growth where there was not a size that fit them. They had the smallest size as puppies and then when they awere about 5-6 months that size was too little but the next size was too big. Buddha now has the next size and it fits him well. He is 3 lbs. |

I would call and ask, or if there is a shop that carries them local check them out. I know the price range is from 30-150 dollars per harness. But they are so worth the investment, and the leather last a lot longer and can stand up over time. As far as sizing, I would bet you can call them and ask about the measurements of your baby and what size would work bext. Good luck. |
