Does it get any easier
 
Ok i know there are many of you that have did the waiting thing to get your new baby and i would like to know does it get any easier? I get to go get little Samson next Saturday and the closer it gets the more emotional i get i am serious i am like a pregnant woman with all those hormones. Not only that he is all i can think about at times what is wrong with me i feel like i could just cry right now thinking about how long it is still gonna be:( Come on guys tell me this is normal please!

Are you getting him from sugars mom? That is so cute. I am sure she is happy over how excited you are for your new baby.

I am getting a little girl in about 2 weeks, I am more stressed if I am making the right decision, but will be thrilled when I see her.

Yep i am getting him from Sugar's Mom. I am not stressed over making hte right decision because i know 1000000% i did i am stressing over the wait it is killing me :(

I know it's so hard to wait! When I got youngest cat last April, I went to see her and put a deposit down on her and then waited three weeks to go back and pick her up! I couldn't WAIT to get her. And I've been wanting another yorkie for two years now and will probably have to wait three and half more years until I'm all done with school :( Waiting stinks!! Just think though...you'll have that baby in your arms in a week! Keep yourself really busy this next week if possible so it'll go by quicker

That is tough. We had to wait on Gizmo too. I was very lucky that we could visit him once a week at the breeder, but it drove me crazy wanting to take him home each time. We did take photos and I put them up all over the place. I spent the time reading up on yorkies and puppy care.

Been there...done that. You are a very normal new yorkie mom. :p

I went into puppy proof mode...I spent my two weeks buying stuff... cleaning...and getting ready! I was working and it was just before Christmas so i kept busy so the time went by...Congrats in the new baby!:D

Thanks guys for letting me know i'm not nuts :) I have been doing everything i can to stay busy and was doing great until today and for some reason knowing it was only a week is driving me insane but of course if i could talk hubby into driving me then it would be less than 24 hours:D

it is 8:30. Maybe you had better wait anyway. My vet appointment for him is not till Tuesday. But he is as healthy as a horse anyway, of course!!!!!!

It's like waiting for skin babies to come. It takes forever. Stay busy getting things ready because once he come...time will fly. :coolsmile

You get him on Saturday already!!!! Wow, that's really soon...sooner than I had thought. I guess I was under the impression that it would be 2 or 3 weeks before you could get there to get him. Wow, this coming Saturday....that's only 7 days away!

Is this upbeat pep talk helping any? ;)

I had to wait about 8 weeks or so before Toby came home. And I can tell you without a doubt, whether it be one week or eight, Toby, and Samson was and will be well worth all the waiting.....and waiting. Luckily while waiting for Toby to arrive, we had Lexie's litter of 4 to keep us pre-occupied and that helped. But still, there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't anticipate Toby's home coming.
So, if you get him tomorrow or next Saturday, or any day in between, I'm right here anxiously waiting with you, anxious to see pictures of the happy moment.

And i also want to thank you for being so super sweet doing the waiting game with me :hug60: The thing that really keeps me going is knowing he is in a wonderful place right now with a very wonderful person. you know lucky us 2 and the others on here that gave Dee's babies a home our some of the lukiest people ever :D I am sure you would totally agree

Well mapquest says 2 hours 47 minutes from my house to hers. I know what you mean i am so excited about Sam getting to grow up with his brother THANK GOD FOR YT AND DEE! Are you kidding that woman is so amazing she will be happy to see hugging crazy me leave lol

No it's up to you but if you come, you will be taking him without his last vet check. i will still give you the health guarantee tho because I know he is healthy so that really doesn't matter as long as you have your health guarantee. I am sending you a pm.
