Lump ater vaccination 1 Attachment(s) Tricksie had her yearly vaccinations a week ago and has a lump the size of a dime on one side, I think it is close to where she got the shot. When I rub it, does not seem to bother her. The Vet did a thorough exam on every inch of her body at that time so it is recent. Is this common? |

Yes it is common. Nothing to worry about. |

It seems like the norm, Copper had one too after his rabies shot and then to add to my fear all the hair in that spot fell out:eek: I freaked, freaked but I guess it happens, makes ya wonder what all is in those vaccines though |

Yes. Animals commonly will get a lump at the injection site. If you rub it, it will help to disperse the fluid and get rid of it sooner. Otherwise, it will just go away on its own in a week or two. |

Yes this is normal, after lily got her first set of shots( keep in mind she is my first and had been very sick) we went home and went to bed and the next morning I was cuddling with her and felt a lump I grabs her and called the vet I was freaking out like it was life of death and the vet was just laughing at me and told me it is very common. She gets them every time she gets a shot once she had 3 at a time. |
