Every moment was special with Delilah. I remember her jumping up at the foot of my recliner and then running to my hand as I reached over the arm to pick her up....she would even jump as I picked her up as if I needed help lifting her tiny 2 lb. body. And how special it was pulling up into my drive at the end of the work day and seeing those big pointed ears (just the tips) sticking up over the french door window waiting for me to open the door so she could do her little happy dance and get lots of hugs and kisses. Oh how I miss her! Will I ever stop crying?:( |

Aww... I\'m sorry. How long ago did you loose Delilah? You know, I can\'t answer that. We had to put down our 15 yr old Lab 2 years ago and I still tear up whenever I see another blk Lab. I have his collar, rawhide bone, picture and his ashes on my mantel next to my stepdad\'s. I hope your heart heals enough to let another baby in soon. There was such a big hole left when Lucky passed away, but Mia & Max have made their own space in there now. No one will ever take Lucky\'s place - but they can have their own  |
Beautiful:p   |
No matter how bad any day is, it is ALWAYS better when I drive up at home! My furbabies are always there, too excited for words! My little Hopey bounces beside herself until I sit on the settee by the door, my Tootie barks to anyone who will listen MOMMA IS HOME!!!!! My Tinker does a happy dance and rubs her head all over the rug, and my lab Laci wags her tail so hard her butt wags... LOL I tell them everyday, no matter what, they always make me smile when I walk in the door, it is a great feeling after any day. d |
