Does This Ad Bother U? Or Am I Crazy? lol Do these kind of ads bother you guys as much as they bother me??? Wanted: teacup or short haired yorkie Price: US $350.00 Ad ID: 33245658 Unique Visits: 199 Street address: Rt 14 CampBarbeFairgrounds, Elizabeth,WV, 26143 View map Location: Pittsburgh Date Listed: Dec-27-07 I am looking for a akc or ckc registered teacup or short haired yorkie puppy.I love these little dogs so much.I can't afford to pay a lot of money but I am willing to pay alittle.I am on a fixed income and I would love to have a little friend to share my life with.If you can help me please feel free to contact me These really bother me, mostly because it makes me feel like the person is a bit shady.... 1. If they really just want a friend why does it need to be a "teacup"? 2. If they really just want a friend why does it have to be AKC or CKC? 3. If they have a fixed income, then how will they afford to take care of the baby??? 4. If they really just want a friend then why don't they adopt from a shelter or something??? I don't know, maybe I am a little out of hand... But for some reason, I see these, ESPECIALLY FROM THIS ONE PERSON, all the time, and they really bug me. |

Awfully choosy for a beggar:rolleyes: There's someone that posts on my local Craigslist all the time begging for a free "teacup" dog:mad: If you can't afford a dog, how are you gonna pay for any vet care?!?! INsane what people want for next to nothing:laugh: I agree with all of your points! |
I know LunasMommy... It drives me nuts... any good breeder wouldnt give a baby to someone if they can't even afford the dog... What if the baby got really sick?? how would they pay the bills? |
Well I would think the same. Have you researched it and do you know also how expensive the care on these dogs can be? I can't believe it and then probably after a few weeks they would want to get rid of the dog. Seems how that stuff goes. |

I messaged the person and told them no respectable breeder would sell to someone like that... and that they seem like a young irresponsible person... She's probably just some young girl who wants to carry around a little dog and show it off to her friends like some designer little carry along bag. Its a real shame. |
what the heck is a short haired yorkie  Now, that's a new one  |

MFL!!! This is exactly what I was thinking!!! This person obviously doesnt even know that Yorkies hair grows, and you have to get its hair cut if you want it to have short hair all the time!!!! This person obviously has no idea what theyre talking about!!! And should not own a Yorkie... It's Chihuahua sexii :D Just do what I do... say Chi Whooa Whooa, then you will always know how to spell it... ChiHuaHua lol |

Sexii... of course I know what you meant... lol... I just used to have problems spelling it when I first got one... So thats how I learned to spell it when ppl would ask... or when I had to write it on something for someone. |

Yeah, I know MFL... lol. Even my bf acts like theres really a bad word in there... lmao He says... You know, those ones the... bad word zu's... that is so great... lol I'm like, you know, its not spelled like that.. its Shih.. then TZU... and that isnt a bad word... lol |

I actually pronounce it... Shee-tzoo... lol I purposely put them apart like that cause ppl always get it wrong... so I purposely spread the T away from the rest... I feel like I'm speaking in Japanese when I say it. |

Yeah, I think so too, I knew that the Pekingese did. Yeah, I do remember hearing it somewhere... Probably Animal Planet. |
that's so funny how this person is asking for a really low price for such a high maintenance dog. 350 is how much i bought my doggy bad for lol! the breeder was asking 1800 for my dog and he's not even akc registered! haha but no big deal my boyfriend got him to lower it to 1400. hehe... havent this person heard that saying you get what you pay for. on that budget she should really look for one at an animal shelter or lower her standards, especially with yorkies!!! breeders seriously overcharge on these dogs! the highest I've seen was 7,000!!! i mean i dont consider myself a cheap person but isnt that ridiculous! there are alot of scammers on craigslist, especially from san diego! you'll find ads for a free yorkie or a teacup yorkie for $100, they like to use stolen pictures of really cute puppies! i've seen three different scam ads with the same photo! lol how dumb do they think we are lol! |
Noinoi, i think there is seriously something wrong with this person... I have seen them in a few things... Pennysaver, Craigslist, and Kajiji... And maybe one other... But I know its the same person. I think that they should look into this person. I think something is wrong and doesnt sound right... either that... Or like I said, its a young girl who just wants a little plaything like a doll... I wrote her a few weeks ago and told her to get a baby doll... Roxy is 24/7 maintenance, and she costs me about 300 a month. I got her down on the price too... she was originally 800. But the breeder was very nice, and she doesnt sell any of her dogs for more than 1000, no matter how small they are. She went down to 600 for me :D |
mommysbabyroxy, is your avatar a picture of roxy? she's so beautiful! that is seriously a good price for a yorkie! my boyfriend wouldve bought those dogs on the spot for that price! over here in california people seriously overprice and they like to categorize the dogs too! short legs, flat muzzle teacup or toy, registration papers, they charge for all of that lolz makes me crazy and its not a guarantee that the dogs are going to be like that too lolz i heard stories of yorkies that get like twice as heavy as what they breeder tells them! lol |
