I'll be saying prayers. |
thankfully she has been sleeping most of the day. I have stayed home with her to watch her. she kept wanting to go outside to eat the grass. I would let her out every time she would ring the bell, in fear that she needed to poo...but she would go straight for the grass :( so I have kept her here on the couch with me. she found her "spot" and has slept a lot. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. so far, since the meds, no poo'ing and no puking. let's hope it stays that way!!! |
Mandee, just now seeing this. How is Maggie feeling tonight? I always wonder about them wanting to eat grass - do they know something we don't? |
Oh No! I am just now seeing this. How is she doing tonight? It worries me that she cries when you pick her up. Poor sweet little Maggie. Did the vet have any idea of what might be wrong? Get well soon Maggie!!! |
Just seeing this thread for the first time..... I hope Maggie is still on the road to recovery and feeling better soon. It's so hard to see these babies not feeling well and not know exactly what is wrong. Give her ((((hugs)))) from us and tell her we hope she feels all better real soon. |

She seems to be doing much better. her energy level has increased, no more poo or vomit...and all seems to be much better all the way around. I am hoping she gets through the night with no issues. she ate her dinner really well...was very excited to finally be able to eat. So I think that is a good sign. I am still giving her a little nutrical here and there...and she is on meds to help with the nausea and diarrhea. so far, the meds seem to be working. thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes. I really think she is going to be just fine :) |

I'm so glad she is doing better! Maybe she just picked up a virus somewhere. I was worried when you said she didn't eat so it's really great to hear she ate something! Dixie sends lots of kisses and get well wishes! |

I give mine some licks off of a popsicle when they wont drinl or eat and that gives them a little sugar and will help keep them hydrated. Doesnt Pedialite have little popsicles? That might be a good idea. I am going to have to check into that myself. My dogs will hardly ever turn down licks off a popsicle. |
Just now seeing this thread and glad to see she's doing better. Libby was sick last week with throwing up, diarrhea and a fever. My vet thought she had probably eaten something outside to cause this. He said he sees a lot of this sort of thing when the snow melts and dogs find all kinds of stuff that the snow had covered. I think Libby ate rabbit poop...that little stinker. I'm always out there with them, but there's time when one of them eats something and I can't stop them. She's fine now...the meds worked great! Get well wishes to Maggie! |
I hope all is still going well and still feeling better. Deiter woke me up the morning vomiting in bed with me. No fever but i will keep an eye on him today and call the vet when they open. Bless there hearts. I hope she is still feeling ok. |
I just came across this thread, hope Maggie feels better by now. :animal36 |
I'm happy to hear that Maggie is on the mend. Must have been very scary for you. |
