I kept company to a sad little girl
 

I love this little yorkie, she stole my heart since the first time I saw her as a little pup. She is my relatives' dog. They dont really feed her a healthy holistic food which makes me upset about it, but everytime I tell them because I know a lot of things about yorkies they dont want to listen and think they know everything! Ughhh Anyways the relatives had to leave on vacation and left her with my grandparents. They were so in the rush that they didnt bring her toys! They came in brought her in and left. The poor thing was sooo sad and there were no toys around to make her more comfortable. They didnt explain which is the food and which is her treats and my grandparents dont really know about it. They called me right away and started asking questions. They said she doesnt really eat just few treats thats it. I told them over the phone which are treats and said I ll be right over to bring toys to this little sad girl. My heart just broke apart when I heard my relatives didnt leave any toys! How could you do something like that? Especially when she misses them so much!!! I couldnt babysit her at my house because she is in heat and I have a boy who is not fixed yet :( When I came over she was soooooo happy to see me because she also knows me and loves me. She was so excited when I brought her toys she started running around with it and bringing back to me. I felt a little relief. I brought her dry food maybe she ll eat good food instead of canned commercial food. I spent time with her and took her for a nice walk when she did her business. She followed me everywhere and if I would sit she would sit or lay down next to me. I am her new mommy lol No I am her guardian angel! I told her that I will come back to visit her to make sure she is happy until the relatives come back. Oh I wish I could just keep her she seems happy with me. I dont think relatives take care of this baby properly. They dont train her. She goes on the backyard at my relatives' house and was really not properly tought about housebreaking :( They scream at the poor thing if she goes in the house and I tried to explain to them that screaming wont teach anything possitive reinforcement will! But again no one is listening to me! So for now she is at my grandparents' house I wish I could be there the whole time to keep her company :( My grandparents are very good to her but they tell me she is just so sad. I wish to take her for good but my relatives wont ever let me have her. They love her but they just let her be...Those kind of people should never have any pets in my opinion! My little Maxi loves her they are best pals since they were little thats his girlfriend :) hehe I hope they come back soon to get her. Meanwhile I will be visiting her to keep her company so she doesnt feel so sad.

awwww I hope they wise up! It sounds like they have a little gem there, and they arent even realising it!

Too bad they won't just give her to you. Sounds like they don't give two sh!ts about the poor little thing:cry:

well at least the little girl is lucky to have a relative like you! try to take a few pictures of the litle sweety to share with us!!

That is quite sad that they dont give this little one the time and attention she needs and craves. Maybe they will give in a let you keep her...since she isnt housebroken and no one really cares for her I dont know why they keep her...maybe you can convince them they need a cat or something lol..

AWW your story just made me think of all the puppies of the world that aren't Loved or taken care of properly..So Sad!!! Hope eventually you can convince this little girls family that this living breathing being needs more Love and attention and that she deserves it.. since they picked HER to be a part of their FAMILY!! Its their Responsibility!! :animal-pa

ur a good relative...u should ask them or say nicely that if they are too busy u would love to take her off their hands lol...i mean seriously if they dont have the time then they should consider giving it to u who adores and loves her...let us know how this turns out...she sounds too sweet

Oh I know guys! My heart is broken and now I keep on thinking about her the whole time! I have a feeling that I will give the relatives my piece of mind when they come back because I just cant keep my mouth shut. When it comes to housebraking I watched them, they dont teach the right technique to her they just start screaming. They let her out on the backyard in random hours I think that messes up the schedule. She is a smart little baby but no one is really want to make an effort to teach her commands. When I came over I actually was teaching her how to lay down because the only thing they tought her is how to sit. She was soo smart that she got it right away without treats!!! I couldnt believe it. She just wanted the attention back and play after she did the command. I thought that was very sweet. I would take her in a heart beat! All I know they wont let me:( I ll be calling my grandparents today to find out how she is doing. I have a picture somewhere in my computer I am gonna get it and post it right away. All I know that my relative didnt really do any kind of research about this breed. Before I got Maxi, I researched for 4 months on the internet, read books about yorkshire terrier and spoke to people that have them. I guess some people take them as just dogs and I am the crazy mommy that thinks her dog is her son just like all of us here :)

so do i maxi so do i martini isnt a dog shes my daugther n some pp laugh at me but ask me if i care she has a great home, parents who buy her the world and shes our daughter and we'd be lost without her in our lives...she filled a void i had

Yay! I found a couple of pics of her with Maxi. These pics are old thou when she was a little pup she is now 7 months. Her coat looks almost the same thou not like Maxi's.Maxi is light she is still dark. When I ll go visit her again I ll snap some pics :)

omggggggggggggg shes sooo cute i mean look at that face how could they just do that to her...i get upset when i gotta leave for work in the mornings and cant wait for her to come home with my bf (he takes her with him)...awwww shes cuteeeeeeeeee take her seriously let them know u want her and that they are bad parents

My heart breaks for this little girl, but I am a bit relieved that she has you in her life, it's just too sad that you cannot somehow adopt her.
I'm always amazed at how some people will spend so much money on a pet and then not provide those things that are required and .... FREE.
Such as time, patience and training....

I know right, eh the problem is that they think they are good parents and even if I say they are not they look at my like I am crazy. See they think because they are much older then me and thats why they are smarter lol And they are those kind of people that you can tell them all you want but they still think they are right ughhhh.
Update: Just called my grandma she said she was doing much better now cause I visited her but she said when I was leaving she wanted to go with me oh cute thing. She is playing with her toys. Doesnt eat much thou she misses them. My relatives called my grandparents to find out how she was yesterday when I left.

ahhhh trust me most of the pp in my family act like they know more cause they are older but i hate to break it to them sometimes they know nada...well im glad shes doing better and im sure the toys made a biggg difference..thats so sweet she misses u...i think that she would love living with u i would try lol
