I love the name sam! I had a Brittany spaniel named sammy "sam" growing up!

i just reread and seen the ...............We have twin boys (who'll be 21 in May:eek: !) i couldn't even imagine my oldest will be 18 next month and it is killing me she makes me feel so old sometimes but it is only because she is getting so old on me lol

Who cares what everyone else thinks. If they don't like the name Sam or Max tell them to not name their pet that!:thumbup: Stick to the names that make you happy!

I had a cat named Sam and one named Max ( may they both RIP). I now have a Lab named Chase, a Yorkie named Cooper and a cat named Toby. Bottom line I love the name Sam. Also when I was growing up our neighbors had yorkies named Samson and Delila.

Oh i love all those names Chase, SAM,MAX,Cooper,Toby & Delila Toby was my first pick but that is Sam's brother so that wouldn't work lol and the thing is i read the post from lucklady about going with the name Toby and i thought ahhhhh i get another boy i will name him Toby lol guess not

Sam is a really cute name. I had to deal with 'the face' too when I name my boy Jamie (Jamison Jacob). So many people said 'he's a dog, why are you giving him a people name?" Now none of those people can imagine him being named anything but Jamie because he has more personality than most people.

I wanted to name Chewy Samson like in the bible...I big Strong man!!! But my family wouldn't do it...I thought Sam or Sammy was so cute!

I love this name Samson! Its great and it defenately goes with Max :) If you like the name you should name your new pup then and congrats again btw. Dont pay attention to people who make faces!

I like the name Sam because it's MY name! Well, Samantha of course. But I love when dogs have it too. It's a nice, short fitting name for a doggie! :)

My Sam is Samuel Kirby but he goes by Sam... Sammy Sam... Sam Sam... Baby Sam... Yorkie Sam....

I also have a Sampson, he is the greatest furbaby.....love the name. We call him Sam, Sammy, or Sammy Sue for short..... He just makes me smile.

My Grandfathers name was Sam Salvadore Pizzolato.

It's your Puppy - It doesn't matter what others think!
You are paying for him, caring for him, loving him etc.......
It should be your Choice on his name!!!

Personally I like the name Sam, but what's more important is that YOU like the name Sam. He's your furkid, you name him what YOU want to name him and don't worry about what everyone else thinks, ya can't please everyone and the way I am, I don't care what people think about our furbutts names, lol. I love biblical names, which is why Isaiah and Elijah have the names they do, I've had people looks at me and say "Oh geesh, YOU named them instead of Ross hu?" And I say yep, and I love the name, if you don't, to bad, get your own dog and name it what you want, lol. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks ;-)

I love the name Sam!!! Of course that is my brothers name and I adore him BUT if Pep C was a boy I think Sam would be a great name!! If you love it ignore everyone else!

I like the name Sam and besides it's your baby. You're the one that will be with Sam 24/7 and not everyone else. Pick the name that you love!!
