1 Attachment(s) The puppies are adorable. The red ones remind me of a puppy in litter that was in my area a couple of months ago. Heres a pic. |

OMG!!!! I was sooooo surprised to see this picture!!!! I'm I correct that her's were purebred also? That's really something! The difference with mine is the white markings (head, feet, chest). Thanks for sharing this photo! |

They are so cute! Thanks for sharing! |
Oh my goodness!!! They are so adorible. I was looking and searching and looking and searching and looking some more for a red yorkie and was not able to find one at the time I was ready to get my new baby. I was not going to stop my search till I found one, but then I found Gus and it was love at first sight!!! There just might be hopes of me getting my red yorkie yet. I have talked to a local breeder and she has had red yorkies born in the past. she has 2 litters coming in soon. Could this be it??? Time will tell. My husband just doesnt know about it yet, so sssshhhh don't tell him |
Julz - are the red one's ears standing up? I know when mine lay down they look like the do, but they look like they are. They are so cute, and I love the older one posted, I still think they will be gold - it's how I imagine them. The others are adorable. So nice to have a healthy bunch of pups. I had a scare with my tiny one the other day - he is all better now. |
Hi Laura! Yes, the red ones ears are straight up (have been for a week now) and the standards are working on it (up and down, up and down). Did you trim the hair off of your puppies' ears? I trimmed it on all 4 of mine...it really does help. You'll be surprised how much hair comes off of a tiny little ear! I also trimmed the edges. I'm going to start getting mine used to being groomed this week. I'll put them on the washing mashine and go through the ritual to get them used to it. They will also get their first bath this week...I just got my Chris Christensen shampoo and Ice on Ice, so it was great timing! Hope your little one is all better!!!! :animal-sm |
I only shaved about 1/3 of their ears. They almost look like they want to stand up, and I shaved their hiney's, too. I was thinking of shaving their ears all the way off, they look pretty cute after a day. Only two were good about it. I bathed mine in an outdoor baby pool the other day and now I'm giving them swim lessons. (my little one fell in.) |
Julz--I don't know if this was posted or asked before but are you keeping the red pups since there are rare or are you selling them? |
I'm keeping the female (I am pretty much positive on that) and may keep the male. I am still not sure at this time. They get the first shots and check-up on Wednesday. I also want to have them checked for liver shunts (the vet will talk to me about it when I take them in..there is no history; just want to make sure). I can't imagine the crazy little buggers not getting a clean bill of health, but will feel much better when (or if) they do. |
