New here with some questions 1st hello to all, I am new to this forum. I want to start by telling our story. We purchased a Yorkie 1 year ago from a local (kinda local) breeder here in S. Carolina. She was CKC. She passed away a little over a week ago to a freak accident. It has really torn the family up bad. We have 2 kids one 8 and the other 12. Hannah (pup) turned 1 this past Friday. :( :( Here's our delima. We are getting another and are choosing between 2. 1st the guy we got here from has more avail, he gets rid of his pups @ 6 weeks. Iv'e been told thats a nono. His pup is $800-$900. (ckc) Hannah was excellent, personality wise. We would refinance the house to get her back. :( The bad was that we found out that she did have a problem with her back knees. Was told that is genetic. She also was very small, she weighed about 3 pounds. We have been referred to a breeder in N.C. named pnderosa, the breeders name is Tammy. Her babies are AKC and come from a great bloodline. She has a girl 11wks old and she is $1500.00. I talked with her on the phone and she was very nice and very knowledgable about yorkies. She said her dogs have good knees and come with a health guarantee... I have a pic of her baby and she is so adorable. Question, have any of you heard or delt with Ms. Tammy @ pnderosa? Any sugestions??? We are really leaning toward Tammy. Feel free to express your thoughts. Thanks in advance Luis. |
is she tammy ford? if so, i would take one in a heartbeat |

We are taking monet from every corner possible to make this happen. Sounds like our best choice is to go with her. Thanks. Any other suggestions are more than welcome. |
Go with Tammy. Letting a pup go from its mom is not good at all. Imagine if you were that little puppy, being taken away from your mom. You wouldn't like it, would you? I say go with Tammy. Good luck! |

TY again. Im sure we will visit a lot and have bunches of questions for ya folks. I will get some pics of our loved and missed Hannah on here along with some pics of our new family arrival. Its still hard to see the reality that she's gone.:( I know she's looking over us and hopefully she will help us with training the new one. We know it wont be Hannah, but hope it will be the new personality that we can love and enjoy just the same.;) |

Hi and Welcome to Yorkie Talk!! I'm so sorry that you lost your first Yorkie so young!! :rbyorkie: I would go with Tammy for your next puppy. The first breeder lets them leave way too soon!! Good-Luck and can't wait to see pictures!! :welcome4::yorkietal:goodluck::aimeeyork |
