harley update - question last night harley woke us up with a yelp. he was in his kennel and the only thing i can think of is that he turned funny or moved wrong and he yelped. It scared both my husband and i to death. I immedicately jumped up and cut on the light and got him out. he seemed okay - i'm still pretty nervous this morning although he slept the rest of the night fine and has been out to do his business and hobbed around just fine on the leash. Any thoughts? Do you think he's okay - i just don't have any experience with this kind of thing. I'm going to try and not hold him as much today since i'm shaking so badly. i know it upsets him. harley's mom |
If his kennel is roomy enough, it could have been a host of things, even I guess a nightmare. If food is there, could have bitten down on a nugget where baby teeth are coming in or like you said, moved the wrong way. I'd check toys and bedding to be sure a hazard isn't there. Mine have their favorite blanket, too, give everything a good shake. It's possible he brought an ant in from outside. I have two of everything, bedding, blankets, etc. and change their bed twice a week, just to be sure my babies have clean beds. If he's fine today, I wouldn't worry too much about it. |
Don't worry , it is probably a nightmare . Gioia does it often . She wakes up and return to sleep a few seconds later . |
When Maggie goes into a deep sleep, she will whimper, suckle and quiver. Must be one heck of a dream. |
Jewels Whimpers and quivers in her sleep also. |
