Has anyone ever given their baby a "tendon" before??? Tino & Bunny's Auntie Dawn sent this to our vegetarian home, so needless to say I am completely grossed out by them eating this, but I didnt want to be "one of those" mom's and have them complain about me to their other doggie friends, so I let them have it. Well they are O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D!!! I have never seen anything like this in my life! They are so nutzo that they are even sharing it! Believe me the other gets frustrated and tries to take it, but that's not going to happen, so they end up giving in! I actually had to take it in order to put them to bed!! And then Tino stood and cried under the window ledge where I sat it! I don't know what we're going to do when this is gone! I don't know if mommy can stand to see cow tendons in the living room on a full time basis!!!

p.s. Plz excuse the ragamuffin hair... this was pre-bath!

Is THAT what those are ? I had no clue but my girls LOVE them - a member sent Chanel & Cheri some as a gift and they went totally NUTS over them - I had to go find more and finally got some at Petco - but they aren't as good as the gift they got - that brand made them crazy for loving it

Cow tendon huh? I have yet to ever hear of one of those or see one sitting on the shelves at Pet Smart. Gross! :D

But our Yorkies enjoy those gross kinda things so I can imagine your fur babies going nuts over them.

Are these tendons hard, soft, or ?? :confused:

They are hard, but then as they chew it, then it softens, but I have to say ...You are sooo right! It IS the most disgusting thing! BUT thankfully its safe and they are IN HEAVEN! Its my new babysitter! They don't mind me being on the computer since they have this!

Schatzie -Cheri has had hers ONE month now and still carries it around the house - she just won't lose it ! They really do love these -

I also get Smokehouse Brand Beefy Sticks that the girls go gaga over - Chanel used to have to have one EVERY night or she wouldn't go to bed.

Schatzie is always interested in chewing on what I find totally gross so I am sure she would enjoy one of these tendons. Are they from a pet store or do I need to find one at a beef market or ??

Also, do they have a tendancy to stain carpet or other fabric material items?

I didnt even think about it staning the carpet and they have been all over my WHITE rug as you can see... no stains! Thank heavens! I don't know where Auntie Dawn got these. Hopefully she will post...

It looks like the curly bullwrinkles I bought Maximus from Petedge...he loves them too!!!

These I get at my doggie boutique but Merrick dog food also makes them and in different sizes. They are not made of the same thing as the bull wrinkles.I am sorry but I cannot get past the thought and smell of those things.GROSS!!! I let my dogs kiss me an nobody that has put something like that in their mouth is going to get within 10 feet of my lips!!LOL.
Try the Merricks website for the tendons tho. With both of these things they should not be able to get pieces off big enough to choke them. When I say both I mean the tendons and the bull thingys..

I do want to add that I never leave either of my two unsupervised with a chew thing made of anything except nylabones. Just a safety precaution.

awwww....you're such a woose. :D I let my girls kiss me no matter what gross stuff they chewed on - lol - well...I guess there are a FEW exceptions ...They're not THAT bad smelling - at least the ones in Petco aren't.

This is the first time I have heard of them. I will for sure try them out of Maggie. Might give her something to do, instead of frog hunting.
