I got my Harley (aka Charlie) yesterday, and he's got to be around 10lbs, if not more! He's solid too...no really, he is!

My Gizmo is 5 months and is already 7.12 pounds! Not sure how much more growing he will do. Anyone else know???

my baby boy, Caden is preeetty big :] i guess hes a small teapot [?] haha . he's 8.6 poundss .

when Caden was 5 months, he was 7 pounds . now, he is 8 months and six days old at 8.6 pounds . he's done growing, though .

i estimate gizmo to grow up fully to be around 10 pounds . but i'm a 13 year-old, not a vet :p

Hi! Welcome to YT! I'm looking forward to pics of both your yorkies!

Ginger and Bernie would love to be friends! Ginger (who is 3) weighs 13.5 lbs, and Bernie who just turned two weighs about the same...I'm guessing he's surpassed her in the past few months.:)

daughter's roommate's yorkie is going to be about 15lbs the vet says - they are calling him their CROCKPOT :D

My Topaz is about 12 lbs. and I love him to death. I don have to worry if I hurt him if we play a little too rough.

Hi, i have just read about your dog, well over here in the UK, we call them larger dogs Standard Yorkshire Terriers, and to be honest with you, a majority of people prefer them larger!!! I have Anmaco Malanbre Insolent Miss Penny, if you care to look at her in my gallery. She weighs about 11lbs, is quite long in the body. She comes from a line of breeding 'Malanbre' that goes back 45 years, where they were bred for hunting. Their temperments are excellent, kind gentle dogs when need be, but also she has to get out for her 2 x daily 30mins walk, where she goes sniffing here and there down holes!!! Hope this helps. Gorgeous dog by the way!!!

I have one , ,lovingly called MONSTER DOG!!! LOL,, Daisy,, is currently 9.2 pounds,, at 17 months. But she is the Lover of the Group! #2 so she tries harder,,lol

Benjamin Barkley is almost 11 lbs and Brianna is just over 8.
Just more of them to love!
We grow 'em big here, my smallest cat is 8lbs, the largest at just over 20.:D

Looks like Skippy wins so far! Tucker was 16 pounds, but he had to be put on a diet. Now he is a perfect 12 pounds! The puppies in his litter range from 4 to 14 pounds!

OMG! My boys would be in heaven over there, they love to play with other yorkies their size. Also I just love seeing yorkies with thier full tails. Its nice to know that there are breeders continuing original breed traits.

Congratulations on your rescue. Charlie is also a rescue and weighs 9# 3oz following our trip at Christmas time. He was at 10# in November, the vet would like me to keep him around 9# but he seems hungry. Warmly, Deborah

My sweet "little" Halo is 13 lbs., but I must admit, she is a bit fluffy:D Halo is 11 mos. old. My 3 boys range form 7 - 9 lbs.

maybe you can tell me then,, i've been told UK Yorkie breed standard is different from US AKC Yorkie breed standard, ,here,,in the US,, breed standard is 4-7 pounds,, what IS it there in the UK?? Thanks, ,my BIG Girl is 9.2 pounds @ 17 months:aimeeyork
