We have this gate. The girls can't climb it cause it's a big plastic panel so nothing to grab onto. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2501256 |
My Alyssa was forever jumping and climbing over baby gates. She even ate a hole in one of them. Finally, for her birthday her daddy found a metal 4 foot gate at PetSmart. It has vertical metal poles going up and they are about 2 inches apart. She can neither jump it or climb it. She is stuck in the "gated community" when we need her to be there. It is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. |
Thanks for everyones advice.. I'm going to try some of these out and take a ride to petsmart ASAP!! you all have been so much help :) |
I had some dogs that did that also..we had to get a flat sheet of press board or pile wood. cut it to size ..put hinges and hook lock on ..WA LA...no more climbing we also painted it To look nicer |

I feel you...zoey is part mountain goat since she hates being in the room alone. I put her in the kitchen and went to get dressed and wash up for work...I turn around and see a shadow..she had climbed the box I put in front of the doorway to keep her in there (waiting on the new gate to come since I had gotten rid of all that stuff when Lulu was trained). |
Gate..tell me what you think please I just ordered this one...wonder if it will keep the mountain goat corralled. What do you guys think. She is a small girl. http://www.lakeside.com/details.asp?...=Wood-Pet-Gate |
