Please Help!!!
Hello everyone...
A friend of mine recently rescued a little maltese girl named Lexi, we were told that she wasnt a good match for the family bc they have a small child-- It turns out that Lexi was not well taken care of at all!-- first we noticed that even though her hair was shaven down, she had mats still that were really close to her skin, her new mom is still trying to take care of that, but she''s much better, that turned out to be the least of her worries though, her nails were very very long and starting to curl, she has a terrible infection in her mouth and her gums bleed to the touch, at the vet check up they discovered that two of her teeth have to be taken out, and that is without any further inspection, just by looking!! they are working on getting the infection under control so that they can put her under to work on her mouth, and her nails also at that point...
we are doing everything possible to help out because as you can see these might only be the begining of Lexi's issues... she is now in a very loving home, being pampered by her new furever mom, she has a pom brother and they act like they've been pals furever...she's very happy and very pretty despite the problems... oh also her coat is growing out nicely mom has her on all natural food now, her previous owners were feeding her kibbles and bits, and only a few kibbles at that, maybe 10 pieces a day?--
