Congratulations Judy and Gizmo! I know EXACTLY what you mean. We had our own celebration the other night. For all his life, Ozzie cannot go in our finished basement because he pees on the carpet. Nowhere else in the house anymore (not for years, except on his designated papers) but always down there. Every time. My mom let him down the other night where he had come to visit me (trimming out our new closet) and not only did he NOT pee, he came up the stairs BY HIMSELF -- something he never does -- so I came and opened the door for him and he went right to his papers. Much happy dancing and praising here. It only took 10 years! |
Way to go Gizmo!!! |
WAY TO GO!!! I also know exactly what you mean....when Brewser was a pup I took her to work everyday with me and when it was time to go outside EVERYONE would follow so they could all have a good laugh!!!:D |
Way to go Gizmo.:clapsmile :cheer: :yay_jump: I know that happy feeling. When Bud was sick several years ago and had loose stools for four months I was so happy when I finally saw a hard poop. I was congratulating him and dancing in the street at the sametime. I got embarrased after, in hopes, no one saw me being excited over a bowel movement:p Hey, your right, your gotta own a Yorkie to understand. |
My husband bought a bell to sit by the door so you can teach your puppy to ring the bell when they need to go out. The first time Jack rang that bell completely on his own, I was so proud I jumped up and down, hollered, danced, praised the fire out of him, gave him peanut butter in his puppy kong. Oh, and yeah, I did take him out. :) Then I had to fight the urge to call my husband at work with the glorious news. :D |
Go Gizmo... Get busy... Poop on the potty pad... make mom & dad proud!!!!! |
LOL, Yup, its a Yorkie thing, they could not possibly understand! Good job Gizmo! |
Yeah Gizmo we knew you would catch on to go poopie on the pad!!! Now can you just teach Izzy how you did it....lol.:D Yup my neighbors hear me all the time talking to Izzy sometimes they think I'm talking on the phone or to my husband. Oh well.;) |
