Holy cow!!!! those stories were so sad. Im so glad some of you on yt are able to help people out with questions about breeders as quick as you do. This is one breeder i would definitely stay away from.

Short of stoneing her to death, what can be done to stop this breeder. All those poor suffering babies!! She's got to be stopped!

I coudn't remember where I read the bad reviews on this breeder..thanks for posting it..this is definitely a BUYER BEWARE!! Just horrible! :mad:

Does anyone have any idea how much she charges for her pups?

Before I got Cooper, I had called for her but she was heading out to a club meeting so we didn't get the chance to speak. It can't hurt to contact her.

Maybe someone else has spoken to her that is on the show circuit.

I had talked w/her about 3 or 4 wks ago. At the time she had a few male pups and they ranged from $1500 and up. I didnt buy one, they were all going to be too small. I want a male about 3.5lbs and these were like 3lbs...barely a 1lb and a half at 12wks. So I told her I would keep her in mind and check back in a few months. She is super nice on the phone. She has some gorgeous Yorkies!

noellesyorkies. She has a website and has some nice puppies.

after reading that horrible stuff about that breeder, I have simple advice...RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! :mad:

I sent Dennis an email with the information I posted here, as well an email address of someone who had a awful experience with a puppy from Carole Buffington. He replied that he was going email this person and thanked me.
I hope he doesn't have a sad story to add to the others.

I hope he doesnt have a bad experience to share either. Hopefully Dennis was just doing his homework! We have to be able to help people when they need it without fear of repercussion!

I have been trying to track this gal down. Tried all types of searches. The pedigree on one of the dogs has the Tangletop that I have. We have never had a problem with the Liver shunt. I want to talk to her about the other lines that she mixed with some very good blood lines to try and see where the problem came from. Tangletop goes back to the late 70's. Liver shunt has never been a problem in any of the puppies produced in 30 years.

I was also suprised about the parvo thing. Would love to find out if she gave her dogs the shots herself or at the vets. If I am taking my kids to the vet and I sold a puppy that had all it shots and it dies of Parvo my vet and I would be having a long discussion. So I am wondering- how old this baby was when sold and if the new owner was to complete the vaccinations?

Don't you just love a good mystery. I emailed Dennis to try and get the info on the gal but never heard back from him.

I was reading the story on the one female but I missed or could not find the pedigree of the male that this gal was bred to. Do I have it correct in my mind that the mother was purchased from the gal in Georgia and that this womans friend bred the female to one of her males and this puppy had liver shunt. I wonder if there were any other pupies in the litter and if the female or male had been bred before ? It is part of the missing link also.

I got confused in trying to understand who the breeder was on the puppy with the liver shunt was it Buffington or was it the persons friend?

Sorry everyone, it was Franci from Noelle's that I talked to not TyAva. I didnt realise I had the 2 confused til someone posted about Noelle's.

I have had a very bad experience with her. A puppy I purchased from Buffington was dead just 5 days after I bought him. I really must be careful about what I say, as she has threatened to sue me for slander.I am happy that many yorkie owners know well enough to keep away from her.At this point I am just gathering information for my legal hearing.

I am sorry, Dennis, for my comment and extremely sorry for your loss. Sometimes people come on here just to stir up trouble and we have had our guards up lately.

I hope you find all the info you need to help you in your case and find some sort of closure to this.

OMG!!! Dennis I am sooo sorry! Don't say anything that could jeopardize your hearing! I am glad you are not letting her get away with anything that happend as a result of her actions. Please let us know what the outcome is!

I firmly agree- you must be very careful about what you say and what you put in writing. Never shoot yourself in the foot.

You must and can only state the facts as they have happened with no conjectures or assumptions. You can only state the facts in black and white.
It also does not help when others bash the breeder- you will get the blame for that also. There is nothing wrong with you statting the facts exactly as they have happened. Through your loss maybe we can educate others as what to look for in a breeder and what they should expect. Good can out of your heartache.

I am so sorry about your loss. Did the baby have any type of warranty on its health? Did you have an autopsy done to determine the cause of death? Did you take the baby to the vet as soon at you brought it home? I have a lot of questions. I would be glad to listen to your story- I will also give you the other side of the spin as a breeder who can prepare you for things that may or may not be said by the other side. Things that you may have not thought of. I try to look at both sides and give unbiased comments- I have both purchased and sold YT's and know what it is like to get burned.
