I don't wipe every time, but I do give him a cleanup after his last potty of the day, and first potty of the morning because I know the little bugger will eventually end up in my bed in the morning (he sleeps through the night in his crate, but almost always gets in bed with me in the early morning). One friend of mine said he "always smells like a baby!" Also, the cutest thing, if he gets some poop stuck on him in the back, he RUNS straight to me, and turns his little butt up to me with this pleading look of, "Mommy, please clean me off -- now!" |
Yes Jenna and Jaya both get wiped after they go potty! quick question....... i use puppy wipes... but I don't really like them because I find them too dry and i end up having to wet them with water. Are babywipes okay to use?? |
Bailey & Maggie get a warmed, unscented baby wipe after every poop. They're all over my furniture and bed and I don't want any skid marks. LOL Kathy & The Girls |
Glad to see al these clean little babies out there!!!! Some times i use a paper towel and if not i use puppy wipes. My dogs don't lick themselves down there either...I'm glad cause they love to give us kisses!!:eek: |
:eek: I feel like I found a secret "cult"!!!! :sidesplt: I thought I was the only one on the face of the earth! When we brought Toto home, she was so teeny and her little legs so very short, when she would try to squat to poop, there would be a "poop pancake" on her little butt!!! Until she grew a little, she got a bath every time she pooped! No, I have never, ever had a problem with her skin or hair. I, of course, asked my vet about it and she said if Toto gets dirty, bathe her! [I love that woman!] Today, at 8" tall x 8" long, she still comes to me if she gets wet and backs up and stands for me to wipe her! Yes, I sometimes get odd looks and raised eyebrows! No, I don't care! :p Flushable baby wipes work great! We should form the "Shiney Hiney Club"!!! :thumbup: |

I wipe him when he pees and sometimes when he poops. I check him after he poops to make sure nothing stuck. Eww! Poop is so gross I think I am making myself sick reading all the poop post! They are funny but sick. |

we do definitely wipe after each poo and after about 50% of the pee :D ... the kids do not seem to mind at all :) they look forward to the little treats after each wipe ;) |
count me in. I have wipes in my laundry room (where they are during the day when I am at work), bathroom inmy bedroom and my dungeon (gofetch area). I use washable in the bathroom so I just flush it when I am done, as well as use it to pick up poop as I have a pee pad there as well and Tiger seems to want to go in the wee hours of the morning. The laundry and dungeon are has the regular wipes only. Both mine are all over my house and bed so defintely want them to feel clean at all times. :thumbup: |
