They were really hard to resize and I found just making my own worked better! Today 01:32 PM i am not creative enough to make my own. do you have any suggestions on where to start or begin. really appreciate the help |
Here is a link http://www.simplicity.com/index.cfm?...=32&startrow=1 You can either buy it online or get the number and buy it at your local store. I have also seen patterns on ebay. Every so often Hancock Fabrics have all their patterns for 99 cents or $1.99 so that is a great time to buy! I have this pattern http://www.simplicity.com/dv1_v4.cfm?design=4325 but I haven't tried it yet. |
thanks for the link, i am off to check and see i can order on line will go the hancocks this weekend and check them out also thanks |

i made these PJs this weekend! :D my babies are babies and these fit awfully odd lol ... the first ones i made were too short for miss buffey (although to be fair, she is "long" and very slim) and fit my 9 week old bentley much better ... but it has an odd shape and IMO there is too much material in the booty area lol ... i modified the pattern a bit and it fit miss buffey much better! although the booty area is still too big lol :) ... i will work on modifying that again next time! i will see if i can get her to stay still enough for a picture! |
I have found that most commercial patterns require modification to fit correctly. With me, by trial and error and lots of throwaways I wind up with a unique pattern that works for me. I think that is the case with most sewers who use "store bought" patterns. |
Good luck in your search. If you find a perfect pattern please let me know 'cause I am looking for a quick and easy PJ pattern too -- I don't want to have to spend a lot of time altering one. |

Then, I recut all the pieces onto the fabric I wanted to use, and sewed it from there. |
BTW, Jo Anns is having their .99 pattern sale coming up this weekend I believe! :) |
thank you all for the tips and i will see what i can do. i even thought of doing like a gown witht the draw sting on the back so she would not pee on it when she goes potty you know like the little sack gowns babies use to wear. i will also check out joann's for patterns if i find something very simple i will share thanks |
I found a PJ pattern at Hobby Lobby. I haven't sewn it together yet. So I don't know how well it fits. |
I have tried to make this one but my babies are much bigger than xxsmall so resizing is very difficult and I gave up. Quote:
