What kind of brush/comb do you use? I see there are several kinds on Chris's site. Thinking of ordering the Ice on Ice and thought I might get a new brush too. JPop is 1.5 years (6 lbs) and my new baby, KoKo Puf is 9 wks (2.5 so far) :D Any advise? Right now I'm using a brush I got from my groomer. |
Yeah, I would like to know too. I was just on the Chris Systems site and was boggled by what I should get for a brush and shampoos etc. |
Alway need eduction on Brushs and Comb to get. Thank you Carol |
My groomer recommends the wide wood handled bent wire ones. She feels by placing your thumb at the handle but fingers on the back of the wide wood part, essentially behind the wires, a person can easily brush "backwards" and get all the way down to the skin. Therefore, it keeps a person from brushing just the top hair but missing the matte underneath. This seems to work fine for my two. I also use a metal comb. |
I use a comb similar to the one in this link. I don't use a brush because it seems to make Chewy uncomfortable. I comb him out every day and he doesn't have any matting. http://www.petco.com/product_info.as...hedding+Blades |
I use a pin comb brush type of thingy LOL but it seems to do a good job. I also have a small metal flea comb which I use to comb away sticky eye boogies (but I first dampen their hair a bit so it doesn't pull and hurt). I believe slickers are for dogs w/ a double coat, so out babies would not need one. I |
