Oh my, need to apologize. It's been a long day and I certainly didn't read it correctly. Sorry:animal-pa |
I'm thinking that poor puppy could have a medical condition that's keeping her from being able to hold herself for long. That gal should give her to the Yorkie Rescue so they can take care of her needs and find her an excellent home. I'm sure the little thing is a bundle of nerves too. How horrible! |

I'll take her. I'll love her. I'll train her. I wont want to kill her. God wont have to spare her life. Neither will my mother. I'm sure this OP was trying to be funny ( ), but it is really insulting to me. I dont have a yorkie yet, so maybe I have no business saying anything, but maybe if she had put in half of the energy into her dog, as I have in researching and looking for mine, then she wouldnt be going through this. I dont even have a dog, I've NEVER had a dog, but even I can see that this little pup has emotional issues. My 3 year old used to do this, she'd pee in front of me to get my attention. And it worked. It worked fast. As soon as I addressed the issue at hand (me not giving the attention when it was needed), the peeing stopped. (By the way, I'm not a bad mommy, I swear!) If I were the OP, instead of taking the time to type up the thread that she did, I'd spend the time finding out how to fix it! Read a book, get a trainer, ask for constructive advice. My $.02 :aimeeyork |
She's obviously terrified. The peeing in front of her is a submissive thing, trying to placate her owner. I suspect the weeing on the sofa etc is just plain fear, when she hears the humans coming. this woman obviously hasn't the first clue about dog behaviour & is just making the whole situation worse. The sooner the poor little mite goes for adoption the better. It's going to take a very patient, loving new owner with good understanding of dog behaviour to put right the damage that has been done to this poor little dog's confidence. Wish she was over here! |
I got it from here. I didn't want to say anything for fear she was on this board too. WAHM.com Message Boards : WAHM life: single, grandma, issues, fun, etc. : Pet Talk |
