Am I silly... ?
 
The other day I was looking at my lil boy (Chip) and thinking about him as a baby and how he couldn't eat out of the bowl we originally got him because he was too little and now he towers over it and how cute he looked when he tried to jump up a stair, but couldn't quite get the leverage. His head reached the top of the step when he jumped he was so tiny. Then I was thinking about all the times we could have lost him after we brought him home the first time and all the times he was so sick after vaccines. Then I started thinking about the fact that in just a few more days, my baby boy wasn't going to be a baby anymore. He was going to be the big ONE YEAR OLD! I started tearing up and I hugged and kissed him. Adam laughed at me and told me I'm silly. Am I silly?

I know how you feel... It really gets to me when i start reading about things that have happened to someone elses lil furbabie.. I look at Mi'Leigh playin with her toys on the floor and just think what i would do if she were gone i start cring everytime.. i have only had her a month and can't imagine my life with out her...

Your not silly honey. It's just like skinbabies...they are our babies and it's a bit sad watching them grow up and not be babies anymore. You might get the baby itch to give chip a sibling.

He already has a sibling... lol! His sibling is our 8 month old rescue, Smokey.

I know! I suffer from MYTS and I want more. If it wasn't for the lack of room and the need for more finances and the fact that my two keep me busy enough for 15 people, I'd be getting one or two more lol

No I find my self thinking stuff that I shouldn't like when they become senior dog and starting getting old and I just get panics attacks about it:eek: so you aren't alone girl;)

You tell Adam he is silly, in just a matter of seconds everything can change....I know. Love him and give him kisses from me. I sure wish I could do that to Delilah.:(
